BATH - 2026

GERMAN SPITZ - MITTEL

VD (1)  Barnes and King’s, Ch Izlou Shiver Me Timbers, 7 years old black, I first judged him as a 3 year old and gave him top honours then, a lovely lad that still retains balance and all the virtues that I am looking for in a German Spitz, he is in firm condition today and oozes breed type, his movement has improved with maturity, Best Veteran Dog and Best Veteran. PD (2,1) 1  Fox’s, Pufnstuf Is Leu Affair at Vixenstar, 10 months old black and tan of good size, developing masculine head, oval shaped dark eyes, lovely small triangular ears and scissor bite, front legs viewed parallel stood with ample bone, short coupled body, big coat, attentive to handler, moving freely, well presented, Best Dog Puppy and Best Puppy. JD (2) 1s  Hewett’s, Spellcast Ive Got The Look, 16 months old brown, nice size for age, lovely masculine head with expressive medium oblique set dark eyes, small triangular high set ears, scissor bite, clean neck into moderate shoulders, in profile he stands square, lovely cat like feet, movement is brisk and free, 2 , Barnes’s, Izlou The Roxstar, 14 months old gold, masculine head with large skull and tall erect ears I would prefer smaller, his eyes are round which effects expression, front legs viewed straight with ample bone, nice body substance and coat, effortless on the move. PGD (4) 1 King’s, Grizwold Paper Moon, 22 months old white, masculine head with broad nearly flat skull, clean cheeks, dark oblique set eyes, brown nose and scissor bite, neck of moderate length fitting well into his shoulders, firm body and outline complimented by high set tail, moderately angled front and rear quarters, on the move he has good forward reach and clean hocks going away,  Reserve CC. 2 , Lewis’s, Grizwold Pirate’s Tale at Louchelle, 22 months old black and white, while writing this report I now see this is a litter brother to the winner of this class, I liked him a lot, he was on his toes, active and alert, attentive to his handler, overall of similar construction to his brother, so they could change places on another occasion. Well presented. 3 Smith’s, Dacfolke Barney Bear  LD (2) 1  Blight’s, Longsdale’s Take It Easy, 23 months old, parti colour, medium strength masculine head with clean cheeks, alert dark oval eyes, scissor bite, clean neck into moderate shoulders but with elbows out, a touch long in body, nice tail set and rear quarters, on the move he was wide coming towards me, I prefer straighter. 2  Barnes and King’s, Izlou All You Knead Is Love, 5 ½ years old black, first impression is he looks lovely and going over I checked bite which was scissor and then he leapt off the table, visually he was my class winner, masculine head, dark eye and nice teeth, front legs viewed straight and well boned, big coat and moved brisk. OD (5) 1 Pearce and Francis‘s, Ch Longsdales Look at Me Now, 2 years old black, top sized lad, well balanced firm and compact, masculine head with broad skull and clean cheeks, dark oval eyes obliquely set, scissor bite, moderate fore chest, straight front legs viewed and well boned, I liked his profile silhouette for giving a well balanced and harmonious outline, he moves brisk and freely retaining a level topline through-out, Dog CC and Best of Breed. 2  O’leary’s, Cadasaro Fights On, 4 years old white, broad masculine head with flat skull, small high set erect ears, dark medium eyes obliquely set, scissor bite with nice teeth, a well presented mature dog with fit well balanced frame, straight front legs viewed, big coat, movement is free and even. 3  Taylor’s, Tispitza’s Futterwacken  Special Beginners D/B  (1)  1 Rotti and Drew’s, Lindcoly Feeling Fizzy, 20 months old bitch, feminine head with dark expressive and obliquely set eye, high set pricked ears, scissor bite, clean neck, well bodied and has a level topline which was retained on the move, moderately angulated rear quarters, moved freely, well shown. Best Special Beginners VB (1) 1  Drew’s, Izlou Peanut Passion, 8 ½  years young, feminine head with medium size dark brown oval eyes, erect ears set high, absent of some top incisors with age, firm level topline, well ribbed, front legs viewed straight with medium bone, showed herself off well today, nice coat, brisk free and even mover. Best Veteran Bitch. PB (3,1) 1  Andrew’s, Claran Galaxy Quest, 11 months old sable, correct for size, developing feminine wedge shaped head with dark obliquely set eyes, scissor bite, erect small ears, clean neck into well shaped body with big coat, level topline to high set tail, front legs straight with ample bone, lovely small catlike feet, attentive to handler, moved freely, Best Puppy Bitch. 2  Huntley’s, Ciasman Maailman Toisella Puolen NAF, 6 months old sable, very much the baby and out of her depth here today, I can see that you want to get her in the show ring, but it is expensive to enter at championship shows, so please stick to some more local open shows, she looks lovely and never put a foot wrong, maybe I will see her again in two/three years. PGB (1) 1  Rotti and Drew’s, Lindcoly Feeling Fizzy, repeat Special Beginners. LB (3) 1 Hutchings-Brooks, Brooks and Hutchings’s,  Jansanleis The Magic Piper with Jenerelena, 3 ½ years old partie colour, stunning outline at first look and on the table, stands square, sweet feminine head with oval shaped eyes, high set small erect ears, scissor bite, neck moderately short fitting well into her body with level topline and tail is high set, movement is free and easy. 2nd, Pearce and Francis‘s, Longsdale’s Have Da Heart, 23 months old black, good size and well under the measure, feminine wedge shaped head, dark eyes and scissor bite with dark pigmented mouth, front legs viewed straight stood but on the move she was wide which cost her, nice coat and profuse tail. 3  King’s, Grizwold Oops A Daisy   OB (7,1) 1 Pearce and Francis‘s, Longsdale’s I Will Survive, 4 years old black, I was immediately drawn to her profile silhouette as she is well balanced and with typical spitz outline, feminine wedge shaped head with broad flat skull, dark oval eyes obliquely set, scissor bite, clean neck into level topline, straight front legs viewed and well boned, moderate fore chest and tuck up, nicely angulated front and rear quarters, moves out freely retaining a firm topline through-out, Bitch CC 2  Barnes & King’s, Izlou Gossip Girl JW, 4 ½ years old cream, nice size of lovely type and quality, feminine through-out medium large head with broad almost flat skull and wedge shape muzzle, clean cheeks, tight flews, oval dark eyes, small triangular erect ears, scissor bite, moderate sloping shoulder and a level top line that she retains on the move, firm body with beautiful double coat, her hocks are moderately let down, movement is brisk and free, well presented, Reserve Bitch CC 3 , Taylor’s, Ch Tispitza’s Avada Kedavra
