Baby Puppy bitch (1)

1st Taylor – Tispitza Take me to the top. 4 month old cream bitch. Very much a baby baby and full of beans today but developing well. Pretty head, nice dark oval eye. Good shoulder and standing on a good front. Nice body ratios. Needing to tighten on the move but I’m sure that will come. Best Baby Puppy.

Junior Dog (1)

1st Pollen – Tispitza’s Midnight Ritual at Fabolym. 16 month old cream dog. Masculine head with a lovely dark eye. Still to develop a little further in front. Rather square in outline. Good neck and level topline. Good for rear angulation and nice feet. Moved very well. 

 

Post Graduate Dog (1)

1st Wilson – Izlou Everyday I’m Truffling at Fyltesway. 3 year old black dog. Masculine dog, good head and nice dark oval eye. Correct ears and flat skull. Good neck. A little longer in loin. Nice angles front and back. High set plumbed tail. Moved ok. 

 

Limit Dog (3,1)

1st Clarke – Shelayne Riotous Revelry. 18 month old orange sable dog. Taller boy but all in proportion. Nice head and dark expressive eye. Good front and rear angles and good bone. Level topline. High set plumbed tail. Tight feet. Moved with a light active gait. 

2nd Blight – Longsdale Take It Easy. 2 year old Sable and white particolour. Masculine boy with good muzzle proportions. Nice dark oval eye. A little wide on ear set. Good shoulder and ruturn of upper arm. Standing on good bone. A little taller in leg. High set tail. Moved well. 

 

Open Dog (2)

1st O’Leary – Cadasaro Gerhard. 3 year old cream boy of lovely overall proportions. Nice head and good length of muzzle. Nice eye and expression. Good shape of ear, maybe a touch wide to be picky. Loved his body proportions and shoulder. Nice rear angles and standing on enough bone. Highset tail and moved steady. RBD RBOB. 

2nd Rosebury – Nixtev Blackhawk. 8 year old black dog. Larger dog all through. Nice head but not showing his best today. He has good bone and nice angles front and back. A level tipline and a nice high set tail. 

 

Champion Dog (3)

1st Francis & Pearce – CH Longsdales Look At Me Now. 2 year old black dog, and my star of the day. Wouldn’t want any more of him. Produces a typical outline and gives off a real presence. I loved his head and expression and has a great neck. Loved him for shoulder and forechest. Standing on good bone. Well ribbed with a short strong loin. Moderate tuck up. Great rear angles. High set tail. When he moves, everything just comes together and he is faultless on the move. Best Dog, Best of breed and delighted to later find out he went Best In Show. 

2nd Blight – CH IR CH INT CH Izlou Float Ma Boat. 7 year old black and cream dog. Smaller all through than winner, and a little longer in back. Loved him for head and expression. Nice eye and ear. Well developed in front and good rear angulation. Standing on good bone and feet. High set tail moved ok. 

3rd Chapman – CH Kitsune Notorious. 4 year old sable dog. Liked him for size and overall proportions. A little shorter in muzzle, with a strong masculine head. Nice dark eye. Moved okay. 

 

Veteran Dog (3,1)

1st Pearce, Francis & Roberts – CH Longsdale Rebel Rouser at Cwrtafon (JW) (OSW). 7.5 year old black dog. A dog I have done well for previously. Nice head proportions and dark oval eye. Good ear set. Good neck. Correct shoulder and length of leg. Standing on good bone. Like him for his overall body proportions. High set tail. Moves very well. Best Veteran. 

2nd Rosebury – Nixtev Xander. 10 year old white dog and showing his age a little. Good for head proportions. Carrying a little too much weight and could not match the winners movement.

1st Roberts – Cwrtafon Cosmic Love. 3 year old black bitch. Liked her overall shape and balance, with a typical outline. Nice head, very feminine. Lighter in eye than I’d like. Good front and rear angles. Tail ok. Moved well. 

2nd Fitton – Nosregor Cassiopeia at Shelayne. Smaller sable bitch and sporting her bikini today. Liked her outline and she ultra feminine with a beautiful expression. Ears ok. Good front. A little longer in loin. Moved well.

3rd Francis and Pearce – Longsdale’s Have da Heart. Very typical in outline and liked her on the stack, unfortunately didn’t want to show herself off to advantage today.

 

Open Bitch (1)

1st O’Leary – Cadasaro Hanna. Coming up to 2 year old Cream sable. Most beautiful of heads, loved her expressive dark oval eyes. Well set small ears. Good neck and just a balanced outline. Standing on good bone and good tight feet. Great for front. Ribbed well back. Level topline and correctly highest plumbed tail. Light mover. Best Bitch, Best opposite Sex. 

 

Champion Bitch (3)

1st Taylor – CH Tispitza Avada Kedavra. 2 year old black bitch. Liked her for size and overall outline. Most lovely eye and expression. Good for bone. Correct front. Well ribbed back and good tuck up. Tight set tail. Moved very well. Reserve Best Bitch. 

2nd Francis & Pearce – CH Longsdale’s I will Survive. 2 year old black bitch. Taller in leg. Loved her head and expression. Flat skull. Good front. Enough bone. High set tail. Great angles, moved well. 

3rd Mackenzie and Moir – CH Jansanleis Rave JW. White and gold bitch. Nice for size a little longer in cast. Nice head but not the expression of the winner.

Special Hannah Rosebury-Lowe Memorial Class (mittels) (8,5)

1st CH Jansanleis Rave JW (MacKenzie & Moir)
3½ years old. Cream and White Particolour bitch. Correctly proportioned head with lovely dark eyes and jet black pigment. Would prefer smaller ears but they are set and used well. Matching angles in front and rear with a lovely amount of bone and substance for a bitch. In excellent, hard condition she easily moved briskly and soundly around the ring. A worthy Champion.

2nd Shelayne Riotous Revelry (Clarke)
Sable male of 19 months - really liked this boy who was acting the clown and playing up his handler. Attractive head with neat ears that he used well. Excellent bone, straight legs standing on cat-like feet. Correct coat coming through topped off with a high set tail. Moved OK with a very good side gait 

3rd Nosregor Cassiopeia (Fitton)
Orange Sable 5 year old bitch who is dam of 2nd placed and sadly left her coat at home. Beautiful head with correct oblique set eyes and melting expression. Her movement was very exuberant but a tad close going away. Lovely temperament

CH Longsdales Look At Me Now (Francis & Pearce)
Black male, 2 years old - WOW!! I had to look at him and couldn't stop. His head is masculine without being coarse, he has a lovely dark eye, gentle expression, correct mouth and neat ears. Excellent forehand with matching rear and high set tail. He is well off for bone and has tight cat-like feet. Movement is so brisk and true. He has a jet black stand off coat which just sparkled. Yes he is topsize but I found him under the measure. Cannot wait to see him fully mature with a touch more coat. Loved him.

Bagshire's Freddy Flintstone (Bagshaw)
Cream Sable male of 6 months Very much the baby but I thought he coped with the terrible wind noise from the tapes and inside the marquee extremely well. Good mouth with the correct scissor bite, his coat coming through nicely with excellent pigment. He's a touch bum high which is to be expected at this age but he moved out all ways with joie de vivre.

CH Longsdale's Rebel Rouser at Cwrtafon JW (OSW) (Francis, Pearce & Roberts)
Black male aged 7½ years. I've had the pleasure of judging this boy before and gave him BIS so no hiding the fact I like him. He is ageing well and most of my comments still apply. He is well made, well balanced and has a  lovely expression. His movement is still all there although he was slightly crabbing today. The veteran klein pushed him all the way.
