Critique

A few absentees, mainly bitches, in an interesting entry. Type varied greatly and I found some bad mouths. A number of extremely narrow front and an odd one over size. Not too many large ears, thank goodness, but muzzles proportionately still tend to be ion the long side. Temperament was mainly good but I found one or two who were very hesitant on the table. Not something I have been aware of before. General presentation and condition in the main was very good.

PD.
(4). 1. Powell’s, Desaria Bobbi Brown at Brookwell. 6 months old chocolate with nice male Spitzy head, good eye shape and neat well set ears. Good ribbing and well boned with correct substance for age. High tailset. Neat feet. Moved steadily both ways. 2. Hunter’s, Rossfort Baltic Pacesetter. Profuse coat of correct harsh texture on this lovely 12 months old white. Excellent pigmentation and very good head with well placed ears and eyes. Good bone and body. Not quite settled on the move yet. 3. Beards’, Wyndlee Chandera Spectre.

JD
(5) 1 Hunter’s Rossfort Baltic Pacesetter. Got his act together this time and showed what he can do. 2 Chamber’s Musique Executive Decision. Alert and beautifully presented orange sable with a nicely proportioned head. Compact well ribbed body, short strong loin. Good dark eye of nice shape. Nice harsh coat. 3 Beard’s Wyndlee Horizon.

PGD (8,1) 1 Thurston’s Rossfort Caracatus. Very well balanced white dog, lovely outline and gorgeous spitzy head. Super pigment, correct dark well set eye and neat high set ears. Good construction and moved briskly and with purpose. Correct coat, well boned and bodied. 2 Rogerson’s Nosregor Fernando. Well put together black with good square outline and carrying a nice coat. Neat feet and a good tailset. Masculine head, correct mouth. Moved with purpose but a little narrow in the rear. 3 Durham’s Stillmoor Durham Addition.

LD
(6) 1 Duke and Gardener’s Galvizach Oakley Adams. Well constructed and overall almost square in outline. Well proportioned head, correct eye and earshape. Well ribbed with good bone. Moved well fore and aft. 2 Hunter’s Nemo aud dem Norden (Imp). Profusely coated handsome white who is well put together and of correct proportions. Well boned and bodied. Lovely pigmentation and dark eyes set well in a strong, spitzy head. A little loose in front movement. 3 Hewitt’s Runfold Full Frottle at Spellcast.

OD (5) 1 Beard’s Wyndlee Ghost in my House. A super middle of size, almost square and well balanced cream dog. Super wedge shaped head of good proportion carrying neat small ears that are correctly placed. High tailset, good tight feet. Well ribbed, strong loin. Harsh coat of the correct texture. Moved with purpose and is straight coming and going. CC and BOB. 2 Day’s Loki’s Gold Ingot. Very nice, alert and well balanced cream. Nice wedge head but slightly longer in muzzle than the winner. Good bone and body and well ribbed. Moved straight both ways. Harsh straight coat, beautifully presented. Neat feet and a good tailset. Res CC. 3 Duke and Gardener’s Daraydala Secret Squirrel.

PB (4,1) 1 Beard’s Wyndlee Chandera Dotty Dotty. Lively black and white, at present rather leggy but has nice bone and is well ribbed. Dark eyes and well placed ears. Neat feet and high tailset. A little narrow and unsteady on the move yet. 2 Garbutt’s Nixtev Inara. Good wedge head with pleasing earset. Another at the leggy stage but with good bone and body for age. Rather wayward on the move yet, especially in front. Pleasing sable coat coming. 3 Clarke’s Shelayne Christmas Cracker.

JB (2,1) 1 King’s Grizwold Inabitkai. Alert expression on this - sadly - out of coat wolf sable. Good earset, dark eye and correct mouth. I would like more body but a good overall shape. Well muscled but not the best of movers.

PGB
(3,2) 1 Hunter’s Rossfort Proviso. A real eye catcher who did not disappoint. Well balanced, compact, almost square and with a good topline. Well ribbed and good short loin. Super head with neat, high set ears and correct eyeshape and set. When settled moved really well all ways, as to be expected from such good construction. Unfortunately lost interest and blew her chances in the line up.

LB
(9,2) 1 Smith’s Desaria Destiny. Immaculately presented chocolate with an alert expression and attitude. Well balanced with compact, almost square outline. Well ribbed and boned. Nice ear and eye set. Neat feet and high tailset. Moved with purpose, straight both ways. Res CC. 2 Powell’s Desaria Fanny Ann at Brookwell. Smart blue with a nice head and appealing expression. Good eye shape, ears set a little wider than the winner. Pleasing body shape overall and good bone. Well presented and correctly textured coat. 3 Pooley’s Wyndlee Fallen Angel from Azkaban.

OB
(5,1) 1 Garbutt’s Ch Runfold China Crisis at Nixtev. A beautifully presented cream with a correctly textured harsh, straight coat. Nice wedge head with a nice eye, well set but slightly large ears. Good bone and body. Moved out well both ways maintaining a level topline. CC. 2 Wright’s Ch Tempore Rights Reserved at Orion (Imp). Very feminine and pretty with a good head and eye shape, ears just a trifle well set. Good harsh coat but not as positive as the winner. Well ribbed and boned, good movement front and rear. 3 Bray’s Abbicher Queen of Egypt.
