Critique
MITTEL I found less dichotomy between the sexes in this size and heads overall had more moderate stops and flatter skulls, so there was no likelihood of their being mistaken for oversize Poms.
MPD. (2). 1. Mulholland and Looker’s, Caoilta Nemesis. 7 months old white with good coat and excellent pigment. Lovely head with small, high set ears and correctly shaped, sized and set eyes. Good body. Moved well. 2. Hemett’s, Spellcast Talk to Me. 6 months old black with a very nice head and excellent eyes and ears. Coat very dense but also very wavy. Good solid body and nice feet.
PD. (2). 1. Purves’s, Rossfort Xcel Among Bulabs. 10 months old white with a straight, long, full coat which could be harsher. Good body and nice tail carriage. Very nice head with excellent ear size and placement. Eyes ditto. Moved well. 2. Mulholland and Looker’s, Wyndlee Bungalow Bill. 9 months old black with a wavy coat which could be longer. A very nice head in all respects. Good underlying construction but tail low set so difficult to carry high. Good movement.
JD. (5). 1. Chamber’s, Musique Executive Decision. 15 months old reddish sable. Very nice Keeshond head on a good solid, compact body. Excellent tail set and carriage. Good mover. 2. Beard’s, Wyndlee Chandera Spectre. 14 months old red with a thick coat 9which could be longer). Tail carried well despite being set a shade low. Very nice alert head with correct expression and good eyes and ears. Nice body. Moved well.
PGD. (7). 1. Clayton’s, Studholme Frizzco Kid. Cream sable with good length of top coat but not enough undercoat. Good tail carriage and very nice head allround with alert expression. Very nice mover. 2. Mulholland’s, Umshumbwe Faccia Die Angelo. Cream. Very similar to winner in type and coat. Nice head with good eyes and ears. Moved well, good tail set.
LD. (6). 1. Hewett’s, Runfold Full Frottle with Spellcast. RCC. Chocolate. One of the best movers of the day. Absolutely sound. Excellent heavy coat on a solid body. Pleasing head with small ears. Good tail. 2. Connor’s, Galvizach Limited Edition. Sable and white with a good body and heavy coat. Lovely tail set and carriage. Nice head with correct ear size and placement. Moved well.
OD. (8). 1. Hunter’s, Nemo Aus Dem Norden (Imp). CC and BOB. Stunning white with a good solid, compact body. Excellent coat texture. Lovely tail set and carriage. Very nice head in all respects including expression. Sound mover. 2. Bear’s, Ch. Wyndlee Ghost in my House. Cream with a good body and a nice coat. Excellent tail set and carriage. Nice head and expression but ears a bit bigger than winner. Moved well.
MPB. (3). 1. Chamber’s, Norsregor Bewitched. 6 months old. Really deep chocolate with a compact, solid body. Excellent movement. Very nice head. Tail carried well but a bit low set.
PB. (3). 1. Thurston’s, Rossfort Xanadu. BP. 10 months old. Well coated white with a good spring of rib but a shade long in body. Very nice head and pigment. Excellent eye and ear shape, size and placement. Good mover. Won on maturity. 2. Beard’s, Wyndlee Dear Prudence. 9 months old black with a lovely head and expression. Good tail carriage and set, good movement. Coat wavy and as yet lacking undercoat.
JB. (2). 1. Beard’s, Danack’ Winny the Witch. 15 months old rich chocolate with a dense coat and compact, solid body. Very good mover. Extremely nice head and good tail set and carriage. 2. Clayton’s, Studholme Loving Lass. 12 months old cream with very nice angulation both ends and therefore moved well. Nice head with a good dark eye. Body on the light side and lacked the coat of winner.
PGB. (3). 1. Williams’, Draydala Coco Chanel at Druitz. Chocolate with a very nice head and expression. Moved well. Not in full coat and would like to see more spring of rib. Tailset ok. 2. Brindle’s, Abbeyhome Abundace in Black. A solid built black with a very nice expression on a good head but a wavy coat. Moved less well than winner.
LB. (4). 1. Pooley’s, Wyndlee Fallen Angel from Askaban. Cream with p[rofuse, dense, long, harsh coat and a well furred, high carried tail. Solid, well ribbed body. Nice head with good ear size and set. Won on movement. 2. Hunter’s, Rossfort Casual Look. Glamorous white with a solid, short coupled body and excellent tailset and carriage. Good eyes and ears but moved too close in front and back movement variable.
OB. (4). 1. Garbutt’s, Ch. Runfold China Crisis at Nixter. CC. A very sound cream with a good straight, heavy coat. Lovely head with nice small ears. Eyes a bit on the large side but right shape. Moved well. 2. Wright’s, Ch. Tempore Rights Reserved at Orion (Imp). RCC. Very close decision but her coat was softer and with just a hint of wave. Excellent solid body and lovely tail set and carriage. Ears a nice size and well placed but eyes too big and a tad round.
