Critique
Temperament was excellent. Conformation, muscle & movement all matter in this breed, & my top winners possessed all, along with typy heads, gd shapes, coat of quality & correct mouths.
PD (2). 1 Hewett’s Spellcast Talk To Me. Lovely black with gd head, eye & expression. Moving well; 2 Orchard’s Spilmah Penny For Em. Much younger than my winner, so lost the class on immaturity & lack of ring experience.
JD (4). 1 Powell’s Desaria Blue Print At Brookwell. Excelled in muscle, so moving with real drive & elegance. Gd head, eye & expression; 2 Beard’s Wyndlee Chandera Spectre. Another well muscled d, so moving true. Not such a gd eye as my winner; 3 D’Agostino’s Galvizach Rated.
PGD (4). 1 Powell’s Desaria Bobbi Brown At Brookwell. Headed the best class of the day, as all were of gd breed type, & moved freely. (This was because of his gd muscle as all the d’s from Brookwell who came under me have gd muscle); 2 Poultney’s Daraydala Wolfgang At Sirchray; 3 Chambers’ Musique Executive Decision.
LD (5). 1 Powell’s Desaria Flash Gordon At Brookwell. A chocolate/sable, who moved with real elegance; 2 Beech’s Galvisach Luck Of The Irish In Sandkarah. Black, with most pleasing head, eye & expression. Lacked the muscle of my winner; 3 Hunter’s Rossfort Eldorado.
OD (5). 1 Powell’s Ch Desaria Disraeli At Brookwell. Excellent type & free moving as one would expect from his excellent muscle, DCC & BOB; 2 Beard’s Ch Wyndlee Ghost In My House. A cream of excellent type, also moving well, RDC: 3 Hewett’s Runfold Full Frottle With Spellcast.
PB (4). 1 Chambers’ Nosregor Bewitched For Musique. Delightful 9 mnth chocolate coloured. In full coat, moving & showing so well, BP; 2 Beard’s Splimah Penny Layne In Wyndlee. 6 mnth old, with pleasing head, eye & expression, coat just right for her age, but lost out on maturity; 3 Hewtt’s Spellcast Look Who’s Talking.
JB (2). 1 Thurston’s Rossfort Xanadu. A white & cream b, but who has kept her p coat into junior, so looks gd; 2 Beard’s Wyndlee Dear Prudence. Pleasing black, but sadly without her jacket today.
NB (1). 1 Beard’s Wyndlee Chandera Dotty Dotty. Not at all dotty. A parti-colour with v gd muscle, moving true & soundly.
PGB (3). 1 Williams’ Daraydala Coco Chanel At Druitz. A chocolate, with gd head & eye. She moved v well both coming & going; 2 Gray’s Druitz September Song From Penlos. A black/sable with lovely spectacles. Not so gd on the move as my winner; 3 Beard’s Danocks’ Winny The Witch.
LB (3). 1 Orchard’s Pennypot Enchantress With Spilmah. Black, who has a v gd eye, & moved with style & elegance, RBCC; 2 William’s Daraydala One For The Boys At Druitz. The only brown parti-colour of the day. Pleasing head with gd eye & expression. Not moving as well as my winner today.
OB (2). 1 Smith’s Desaria Destiny. Most pleasing chocolate, with gd head & eye, & in super coat. Moved & showed really well, was made up, pending KC approval on the day, BCC.
