Critique
MITTELS: PD Powells’ Desaria Flash Gordon at Brockwell. Seven month old chocolate dog. Good overall construction, although tends to stand long. Pleasing head, nice tailset. Moved with purpose. As ever with this exhibitor, beautifully presented. Res Best Dog.
JD Hewett’s Runfold Full Fruttle with Spellcast. Another young dog with a good square outline. Nice muscle tone that produced good movement in both directions. Pleasing head, ample reach of neck. Nor in the best of coats today.
LD Powell’s Desaria Aurelius at Brookwell Black, with good head, and body. Nice bone front and rear, neat tailset. Move well. In lovely condition. Although a handsome dog, just did not hit the spot today.
OD 1 Powell’s Ch. Desaria Disraell at Brookwell. This dog presented a near perfect picture. Standing the overall construction and profuse coat, with a full mane, demands attention. The well proportioned head is carried on a nicely arched neck, leading into well angulated shoulders. Good muscle tone. Nice bone front and rear. On occasions has shown indifferent movement, today strode out with purpose with good reach. Best Dog & BOB. 2 O’Loughlin. Claran Earthworm Jim under Caoita. Another very good Mittel. This chocolate coloured dog has a nice head with well placed ears. Good body, well ribbed. Ample muscle and bone. Good tail set. Nice mover in both directions. Just does not have the ring presence of the winner.
PB Powell’s Desaria Fanny Ann of Brookwell. Young blue bitch that was far from settled. Pleasant feminine head, good body, moved well when in a mind to. Beautifully presented will watch her progress with interest.
JB O’Loughlin’s Runfold Fast Forward to Caoilta. Very good head, with well placed eyes and ears, helping to give a typical feminine expression. Well constructed body with good front and rear assemblies. Moved with plenty of drive and reach. Res Best Bitch. 2 Clark’s Runfold Frantic Freda There is much to like about this bitch. Nice outline, well presented. Good movement in both directions. Just lack the maturity and ring presence of the winner.
OB Hewett’s Runfold Ethernal at Spellcast. Although not one of the biggest, this bitch is well constructed. In very good coat. Good body. Well proportioned head. Moved with plenty of drive and reach. Best Bitch.
