GERMAN SPITZ
MITTEL V. (2). Both the veterans’ characters were brilliant, super and alert at all times. 1. Briggs’, Pennypot Winters Song 8 years old b. Good head, dark round eye, correct bite. Balanced body, very good body and condition for age. Super coat with good texture. Good tailset. Very lively and alert. 2. Moir’s, Ch. Willmac Creme Cookie at Jansaniels. 12 years old bitch. Good head and expression. Very good earset, dark eye. Balanced body with square outline. Good tailset. Very lively and alert. Quite out of coat on the day.
PGD. (3). 1. Purves’s, Bulbas Spirit in the Sky. 20 months old cream. Masculine head and expression, moderate stop, lovely dark eye and good pigment, correct bite, good earset. Good level topline, good tailset. Defined coat and mane. Moved well with drive. BD. 2. Beard’s, Wyndlee Ghost in my House. Thought he was a really nice dog. 2 years old. Nice head and expression, dark eye of correct oval shape, correct bite, lovely small neat ears. Has a shorter and more compact body than winner, though would benefit from better lay of shoulder. Also is a bit high on the hock which combined with front assembly, affects movement. Has a good level topline and good tailset. Won RBD on his type and lovely head and expression.
OD. (7). 1. Heslop’s, Nixtev Fireblade. 2 years old black presented a really nice outline and shape. Has a nicely defined coat which was abundant. He is a bit too strong in head for me, dark round eye, good earset. Good topline and tailset. Strong bone, good feet. Won this class on his movement. 2. Beard’s, Wyndlee Oldcharm Prinz Eugen. Nice head and expression, good dark eye of correct oval shape. High earset, correct bite. Square balanced body. Level topline. Nice feet. A bit long in hock. Pranced about on the move. 3. Lack’s, Abbeyhome Lucky Boy.
PB. (4). 1. Briggs’, Pennypot Enchantress. 8 months old black. Sweet expression, medium eye, correct bite, good earset. Nice outline, good tailset. Good feet, well turned stifle. Lively and alert character.
JB. (2). 1. Butler’s, Phixon’s, Miss Kizzi. 17 months old black. Very nice head and alert expression, medium eye, correct bite, good earset. Presents a good outline. Level topline, a little out of coat. Very nice feet. Correct hind angulation. Good tailset. Moved well though tends to watch her handler on the move which makes her hackney on the move. Something to take note about.
PGB. (3). 1. Purves’s, Bulbas Truly Scrumptious. 22 months old cream. Pleasing head and expression, dark eye, good small neat ears. Compact body, nicely covered ribs. Level topline. High tailset. Nice feet. Moved well. 2. Lack’s, Abbeyhome Hevem Delight. 2 years old. Nice head and expression, medium eye, nice earset though ears larger than winner. Good level topline, good tailset. Longer cast than winner. Well coated throughout though has a slight wave in coat.
OB. (5). Wow what a class! Some lovely bitches here. I really was splitting hairs to decide the placings. 1. Garbutt’s, Ch. Runfold China Crisis. Lovely cream of almost 5 years old. Super balance to head, lovely dark eye and pigment. Nice earset, very well constructed throughout. Has super balanced body and lovely outline. Good strong level topline. Good tailset. Lovely neat feet. In full coat and presented in super condition. Has correct moderate angulation. Her movement is so precise and accurate. BB and BOB. 3. Sanderson’s, Ch. Galvizach Frederika via Daneck. A very lovely brown bitch of 2 years. Very nice head and expression, correct bite, correct oval eye shape. Very good earset. Has a super compact body of good proportions and balance. Level topline. Good tailset. Very nice neat feet. Moved well. Was out of coat on the day. RBB. 3. Garbutt’s, Nixtev Firefly JW. Lovely black bitch of almost 2 years. Very nice outline and shape. Abundant coat though has a slight wave along back. Good mover.
