Critique
MITTEL pd (5) 1. O'Loughlin's Liubice Crazy Diamond for Caolita, eyecatching very showy dog. Lovely dark oval shaped eye,correct scissor bite. Balanced square outline, has a very abundant coat with good texture. Super tailset & carriage, nice bone, correct moderate angulation, quite easily won the class. Moved very well. BP. 2. Williams' Druitz Cadfael, 9 mths, stronger in head than 1, has a correct bite, nice dark eye although it is rounder in shape than what is preferred. Nicely balanced square body & outline, nice bone, good abundant coat, he decided he would not move at all. Could not assess movement. 3. King's Grieta Tubul of Grizwold, 10 mths, Has a nice dark eye & good earset, correct bite, nicely balanced square body, his croup slopes down to his tailset.
JD (4) 1. Purves' Bulabs Polarbear, 16 mths, cream dog, dark eye, correct bite with lovely pigment, ears medium size, would prefer them higher set. Body is balanced & he has a square outline, nice bone, good tailset,moderate angulation, moved well, was a bit out of coat. 2. Poultney's Galvizach Versace at Sirchray, has a very nice head & dark eye, correct bite, moved ok. He is very underweight & needs to body up.
pg (8) 1. Dickinson's Nixtev Inferno, 2 1/2 yrs, has a very nice head & expression, dark eye, moderate stop, correct bite, nicely balanced body with good outline, level topline, good tailset & carriage, moved well though needs to tighten in front. 2. Winser's Pennypot Enigma of Lysebourne,3 1/2 yrs. Very nice dog, would prefer his stop to be a bit more moderate than steep, good earset, dark eye though slightly round, nicely balanced square body, good bone. Tailset very good. Moved very well. 3. Mulholland & Looker's Caoilta Nemesis, overall a nice dog, has a balanced body, good movement etc, he is a bit too filled in cheek which spoils his expression.
LD (7) 1. Powell's Desaria Flash Gordon at Brookwell, 3 1/2 yrs, balanced head with good muzzle, nice eye shape which is correctly obliquely set. Correct bite, good flat skull, nice ears but would prefer them a little higher set. Nicely balanced body, super abundant coat of good texture. Super high tailset, good bone & substance. Res DCC. 2. Hewett's Spellcast talk to me, 20 mths, very nice black dog, good head & ears, flat skull, correct bite, medium brown eye, good balanced body & square outline, good topline, nicely boned, good abundant coat but would prefer a bit more harsher texture. Moved well. 3. Andrew's Claran Shades of Fontleroy,
od (4) 1. Beard's Ch. Wyndlee Chandera Spectre, 2 yrs,he has the super head type that I was looking for. Lovely ears & eyes, correct bite, super outline & beautifully balanced square body. Very good tailset, nice bone & feet, Correct coat texture, moved very well. Quite easily the best dog on the day. Dog CC & BOB. 2. Powell's Ch. Desaria Disraeli at Brookwell. 5 1/2 yrs, nice balanced head, dark eye, correct bite, very nice earset, moderate bone, good coat texture, tailset nice & high, moved ok though not as good in front movement as 1. 3. Butler's Ch. Galvizach Phixons Flyer, 4 yrs black, quite a nice dog, would not use his ears at all. Medium brown eye, nice outline, has a slight wave in coat. Moved well.
PB (3) 1. garbutt's Nixtev Kameo, 11 mths, balanced head, dark eye, correct bite, good pigment, good bone, nice feet, moved well. 2. Williams' Melisande, 9 mths, head ok with flat skull, would prefer a higher earset, correct bite, good topline & tailset, not as pleasing in expression as 1. 3. Conway's Druitz Corn Dolly.
JB (2) 1. Garbutt's Nixtev Kharisma, 11 mths, nice expression with lovely dark eye. Correct bite, good earset, balanced body with good profuse coat. Nice bone, very good feet, moved well.
PGB (2) 1. King's Grizwold Inabikari, 2 1/2 yrs, balanced head with lovely dark eye which is correctly oval shaped & obliquely set. Good earset, nicely balanced square body, good topline, moderate bone & angulation, quite out of coat moved ok.
LB (3) 1. Beard's Danacks winnie the witch, 2 yrs brown, balanced head with nice expression, correct bite, good earset, balanced square outline, good tailset & moderate bone, has good coat texture, moved well. 2. O'Loughlin's Caoilta Virago, has a balanced head with dark eye. Has good tailset & nice bone, good body shape, nice feet, moved well. Unfortunately her bite is not correct.
OB (6) 1. Chambers' Nosregor Bewitched for Musique, 2 yrs brown, has a nice head & expression, good eyeshape, correct bite, good ear size & nicely set. Balanced body with good topline & tailset & , nice compact bitch with good coat texture. Moved well. Pleased to award her the BCC. Told later it was her 3rd. 2. Orchard's Pennypot Enchantress with Spilmah, 3 1/2 yrs black, shorter in muzzle than 1 & would prefer a slightly darker eye. Saying that she is a lovely bitch, nice & compact in body, good tailset & good bone. Profuse coat. Moved well. Res BCC 3. Clayton's Studholme kiss an tell.
