Critique

MITTEL

PD (1) 1 Clarke's Goldenwhin Maverick Spirit. A 9 month old black dog, still coming together but of good type, pleasing in head and carriage, head and expression with sound body and quarters, well coupled.

PGD(1) 1 Winser's Nixtev Notorious Of Lysebourne. Black dog of almost 2 years, of good stature and carriage, a well constructed body, well ribbed with good forechest, pleasing topline and tail set and when not sniffing the ground, quite a good action.

LD(3) 1 Hill's Sobriety Hot Chocolate. A dog of good quality, he has a well balanced, well coupled body, good ribbing and quarters, well muscled, he is true in action, moving cleanly and briskly, good coat. Res DCC. 2 Smith's Wyndlee Ghostly Magic. A cream of similar type, but not quite the presence of the winner, he has a well set neck, top and tail and well ribbed, pleasing in action. 3 Purves' Bulabs Polarbear.

OD(4) 1 Corkin's Nixtev Kinetic Under Fouranfass. Another of quality with type and balance that gave him by a short whisker the top spot on the day, excellent construction, culminating in correct action. DCC and BOB. 2 Heslop's Nixtev Fyreblade. Not quite the balance of winner being a little longer in back, he has a good head and carriage, well ribbed and good forechest, not quite the action of winner today. 3 Hill's Wyndlee Yin Of Sbriety.

PB(2) 1 Hill's Pufnstuf Put A Spell On You At Sobriety. 11 month old, feminine black bitch of good type and style, she excels in head and neck with good expression, a sound well put together body and action, pleasing all round. BP. 2 Hamer's Liubice Vivacious Of Clarmer. This 6 month old baby really tried hard in the class, but as one would expect, giving a lot away to winner in maturity, all coming along fine and very true in front action though a little close behind which should rectify with maturity.

JB(1) 1 Heslop's Flamuna Fratelli. At 13 months, this young lady was at the juvenile stage, pleasing to go over in head and eye, well set neck and good body. All that let her down was being out of coat.

PGB(2) 1 McLaren's Daraydala Hocomewood Black Diamond. This 18 month old bitch had an excellent outline and good carriage, good head and a sparkle in her eye, she is so well balanced in body and quarters and a lovely mover. Res BCC. 2 Heslop's  Flamuna Babyshambles. A bitch to like but felt on the day could have carried a little more body, but she has the balance, well set in neck, good wither and topline and tail set, giving a good outline, she has a reasonable action.

LB(2) 1 Purves' Rossfort Griselda. A pleasing type of good size, liked in head with good eye, she has a pleasing all round construction and on the move a sound brisk action. 2 Butler's Wyndlee New Kid In Town. This bitch was very well bodied in fact a little too much weight on the day which spoiled her outline but pleasing to go over, well set quarters giving a reasonable action.

OB(2) 1 Heslop's Runfold Joo Joo Bee Doo By Flamuna. A mature 4 year old black bitch of sound construction and well angled quarters, a pleasing outline and good carriage with breed type action, was a picture from all angles. BCC. 2 Moir's Ch Nixtev Liberty At Jansanleis. A very feminine bitch, put down well and little between first and second. I'm sure they must swap places, she has all the virtues of winner without the carriage and presence on the day, with so much to like.
