Critique

My thanks to everyone who braved the appalling weather. In Kleins I found a few mouth problems, some round eyes and short forefaces,  and surprisingly one or two less that good temperaments.  Movement as always was mixed but on the whole some excellent dogs it was a pleasure to judge.  In Mittels I found some really exciting youngsters who must have a good future. Thank you for the privilege of judging your dogs.

Mittels.

Two lovely puppy dogs to start with.  PD 2 (0)  1 Smith’s Spellcast Jive Talking. Good head proportions on this black with lovely spitz expression, Well set and used neck  held his topline at all times,  solid well ribbed up body with good front and rear assembly nice loin and well set tail. Very much all of a piece, always standing correctly..  Moved soundly and with enthusiasm in all directions, could not deny  him the RCC. 2 Chambers’ Musique Worth The Wait.  A very promising brown puppy, giving away a lot in maturity,  lovely head and expression good well ribbed up body , nice loin and tail set.  Moved and showed very well for age

JD 2 (0) 1 Jones’ Flamuna Revelations at Runestone  Solid well developed dog with an excellent coat texture. Attractive head, good body and well balanced front and back angulation.  Well carried tail,  enthusiastic sound mover, could be a tad lighter of foot.. 2 Williams’ Druitz The Student Prince. Good head and short coupled body  good tail set, not as settled in front movement as 1.

PGD 2 (0)  Dreschler’s Wyndlee Blowing In The Wind At Jeansway.  Handsome solid black dog with very masculine head, correct coat texture  good body  nice side action, a bit untidy coming towards me  2  Rossfort My Imp At Teamor  Nicely bodied Particolour with well balanced angles not as compact as 1.and a bit deep in stop.

LD 6 (3)  Lord’s Nixtev Phoenix   Well balanced cream dog with good head piece and pigmentation well ribbed up body and well set tail.  Moved out well in all directions.  2  Clayton’s cream Rossfort Gerhardt  Attractive head with good pigmentation slightly longer cast than 1 and not moving as well 3 Pooley’s Wyndlee Short And Sweet At Azkaban

OD  5 (2) 1 Williams  Druitz Black Prince  Black with good headpiece and super expression,  nice set on of neck fitting nicely into shoulders,  well knit short coupled solid body, well ribbed up and good bone for size,  good balance of angulation front and back with no exaggerations and moving smoothly with drive, well handled to keep his topline at all times.  CC  and BOB. 2 Hewett’s Ch Spellcast Secrets and Lies Lovely well made gold dog with all the goodies, moved soundly in profile not as well knit as 1. 3 Hunter’s Rossfort Eldorado

PB  1 (0) Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets With Azkaban.   Delightful feminine black with lovely expression, well made throughout with good proportions and well set tail. Moved out well.

JB  3 (0) 1 Moir’s Jansanleis Mayhem.  Super cream bitch with beautiful head proportions eye and pigment, sturdy body well ribbed up with good loin and tail set  excellent front and rear and used her self so well on the move keeping her topline. CC and pushed the dog hard for BOB. 2 Williams Druitz Follow That Dream   Lovely head on this well constructed well knit brown girl, good body and tail set, liked her a lot.  A bit untidy on the move and not holding her topline as well as 1..   3 Hall’s Flamuna Conversation Diva At Pufnstuf

PGB  4 (2)  1 Alfred’s Rossfort Black Girl At Teamor.  Well coated black bitch  pleasing head proportions with a good body and a well constructed front.  Moved soundly in all directions,  2  King’s Druitz Cariad Bach of Griswold  very out of coat nicely constructed orange with good body, Liked her head and eye shape, moving a bit close coming and going but  good profile movement

LB 3 (2) 1 King’s Grizwold Inabikri  Sable with good texture of coat,  head proportions and eye OK would like smaller ears, moderate balanced angulation..  Moved well in all directions

OB3 (1) Chamber’s Ch Nosregor Bewitched For Musique.  Impressive classy brown bitch with lovely head and expression, neat erect ears, so difficult to find today,  lovely rounded ribs and strong loin, moved out soundly front and back. Good topline but a shade overweight which told in the final run off for the CC. against the younger bitch. RCC2  Moir’s Ch Nixtev Liberty At Jansanleis  Attractive cream bitch with good pigment, well made throughout with moderate angulation, preferred ear and eye of 1
