Critique
German Spitz Mittel
VD (1) 1 Thomas’ Desaria Darby for Daraydala, 11 years orange, balanced in outline with strong neck of correct length, acceptable topline & good tail for both set & carriage, soundly constructed, moving well & extremely energetic for age. Fails somewhat in head being rather narrow in skull which does detract but having said that his skull to muzzle proportions are good, time has taken its toll on his dentition. PD (1) 1 Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly, 9 months choc/s, presents a nicely balanced outline with a moderate neck, level topline, short loin & good tailset. Rather narrow in forechest right now but he’s only a youngster so that should alter in time. Well proportioned head, moves out well when viewed in profile & uses himself to advantage. RBD & BP. PGD (1) 1 Thomas’ Desaria Davivn, 11 years brown, litter brother to Darby & much of the same comments apply, balanced outline with strong neck of correct length, level topline, good ribbing & high set tail, good coat qualities. Rather narrow in skull which spoils expression. Moving well in profile but could be more positive fore & aft. BV. OD (1) 1 Pooley’s Wyndlee Short N’ Sweet, b/w, overall very nice exhibit who was good to go over, correct size & very well balanced with excellent neck, level topline, well ribbed, short loin & good tail for both set & carriage, good width & depth to chest, quality coat & in very good order, super head & eye with delightful expression, soundly constructed & one who really uses himself to advantage, an easy BOB.
VB & PB (0). JB (1) 1 Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets with Azkaban, 16 months black, feminine youngster who has plenty of quality, nice outline with correct neck, firm level topline & short well developed loin, head is developing nicely with good eye for both shape & colour & correct mouth, moving true when viewed from all angles, good coat. BB. PGB & OB (0).
