German Spitz Mittel
A nice entry in quality if not numbers.
V (2) 1 Thomas’ Desaria Darby for Daraydala, good overall balance on strong well made body, masculine head & eye, good pigment, very good action both ways. PD (1) 1 Mountain’s Daraydala Carlos at Hocombewood, cream, nice head & expression, good neck & shoulders, OK for bone & feet, looked good in profile & didn’t disappoint on the move. Should do well. JD (1) 1 Garbutt’s Nixtev Torvald, when he settled he went well & gave a good performance. Scores in head & eye, clean well laid shoulders, strong body & quarters used well on the move. PGD (2) 1 Jones’ Flamuna Revelations at Runestone, shade narrow in front but felt he made better use of himself on the move. Good head & expression, masculine outlook; 2 Mountain’s Hocombewood Charlie Brown, better front but not so positive on the move. Little high stepping in front. Good drive behind. LD (3) 1 Hewett’s Spellcast Shout About It, lovely head & expression, very clean sharp outline, excellent front assembly & feet, strong deep body, firm topline & quarters, good tailset, free & active on the move. RCC; 2 Williams’ Spellcast Talk To Da Paw at Trebettyn, similar in many ways, perhaps a little heavier right through but very smart & good on the move; 3 Pooley’s Wyndlee Short ‘N’ Sweet at Azkaban. OD (6) 1 Chambers’ Ch Musique Worth The Wait, brown of high order, masculine outlook, excellent head & eye, good pigment, strong bone & good feet, smart mover, in top form. CC; 2 Andrew’s Claran Narada, black, such a nice head & eye, good overall balance front & rear, good on the move. Not the drive of 1; 3 Garbutt’s Nixtev Polarize.
PB (2) 1 Winser’s Lysebourne Aaliyah, very pretty baby, ultra feminine & handles well, excellent front & rear. Needs to settle in movement but this will come with time. JB (3) 1 Andrew’s Dagsljus Against All Odds at Claran, shade small but super balance & movement. Pretty head & eye, good use of ears, very good showgirl; 2 Garbutt’s Nixtev Tantalize, preferred the size of this one but wouldn’t settle on the move unfortunately. PGB (2) 1 Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets with Azkaban, out of coat but presented & handled well. Good balance & pigment, outmoved 2; 2 Alfred’s Rossfort Black Girl at Teamor, size smaller but good body, front & shoulder. Prefer a little more angulation behind. Sound mover but lacked a little drive. LB (2) 1 Francis, Pearce & Garbutt’s Nixtev Selenia with Longsdale, high quality, good body, balanced head but a little plain. Excellent neck & shoulders, very good action both ways. RCC; 2 King’s Spellcast Talk To Da Tail, good balance but not quite as firm in front as 1. That said she moves very well fore & aft. OB (3) 1 Moir’s Ch Jansanleis Mayhem, cream, gorgeous head & expression, deep pigment, clean crisp outline, free & active on the move. CC & BOB.
