I would normally move the dogs over a larger area but due to the undulating ground I preferred to use a smaller area that was more level. Thank you to the exhibitors who supported the show for these non CC breeds.
V (1) 1 Thomas' Desaria Darby For Daraydala. 12 years old and what a credit to her owner for he was so well muscled. Can be forgiven for losing a few teeth at this age, but the many that were still present were all very clean. Not sporting the best jacket today, but moved around the ring really well with drive from strong hocks. BVIB.
JD (3,1) 1 Beard's Mrs P A Wyndlee Jester. Ex head proportions and liked his eye shape and size. Compact outline, and scored so well on his tight elbows, which were reflected in his precise movement. Good layback of shoulder and good turn to stifle made him well balanced. RBD. 2 Saich & Saich's Zephon Akio. Had a larger eye than 1 and was somewhat erratic on the move. Strong in bone. Held his tail well at all times standing and on the move. Ex ear carriage and used his ears to advantage.
PGD (1 ) 1 Saich's Hocombewood Hot Toddy For Lindcoly. His mouth cost him in the challenge for RBD. He had a fabulous thick coat and bushy plume. Liked his layback of shoulder and upper arm. Perfect for size and displays an attractive outline. A good honest boy.
OD (3,2) 1 Smith's Spellcast Jivetalking. Just fell for this charismatic black boy. Ex for size and overall proportions. Squarely built. Impressive shawl round neck. Carries his tail with pride. I would prefer him to be tighter at elbow, but he has ex rear drive and good extension. Moves with purpose and animation. Undoubtedly a showman. Expertly handled. BD & BOB. 2 Thomas' Desaria Darby For Daraydala. Happy, active and alert boy but could not match the movement of 1.
JB (4,2) 1 Purves' Bulabs Leading Lady. Held her level topline at all times, and was most composed on the move. Good forechest and depth of chest. Short-coupled. Another where I would prefer tighter elbows but handled herself well. RBB. 2 Saich's Bulabs Staring Stephenie For Lindcoly A little erratic on the move and overall preferred movement of 1. Very sweet natured and with a pretty head.
PGB (3,2) 1 Saich & Saich's Ichmoran Primrose Polka. Exhuberance personified. This particolour was full of herself which I do like to see. Very attractive markings. Pretty head. Liked her eyes and she was so sound to go over. Although she is inclined to throw a rear leg on the move she can move straight and true when she concentrates and stops jumping around. Loved her enthusiasm! BB & BOS.
