German Spitz Mittel

My criticism for the breed as a whole is a lot of them are bowed in front legs on the move. Apart from that, they were good. I found it difficult in some classes as there were two, sometimes three that I could easily have given a first place too & I was splitting hairs.

PD (4) 1 Hamer’s Borndownunda Talking Heads of Clarmer, super head & colouring, a bit teenage in body & behaviour. Good movement when settled, especially in front. Good tail carriage. Will need to body, but still young. BP; 2 Hearson’s Nixtev Uraxys at Jumasue, a little coarse & big for age. Unsettled putting his movement out. Large in head, good tailset, good front & rear assembly. JD (1) 1 Williams’ Grizwold Lohengrin at Druitz, liked this one. Correct body, nice neck & shoulder. Good tail carriage. A little skittish. Good head. Movement erratic. PGD (5) 1 Davies’ Nixtev Serylus, I didn’t like this dog when I looked along the line at conformation, but after some adjustment of his lead we were able to show that he had indeed got a neck & good shoulder lay. Lovely colouring, good dentition & tailset. Good front & rear assembly; 2 Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly, lovely outline & good head. Loved his character. Moved well. In good coat; 3 Saich’s Zephon Akio at Lindcoly. LD (3) 1 Pooley’s Wyndlee Short ‘N’ Sweet at Azkaban, lovely shape, moves & shows well when made more alert. Good coat & nice head. CC; 2 Hewett’s Spellcast Shout About It. OD (6) 1 Chambers’ Ch Musique Worth The Wait, good conformation. Little too much coat spoils first impression, but going over showed the shape under the coat. Good head & mover. RCC; 2 Jones’ Flamuna Revelations at Runestone; good type with lots to like. Good on the move; 3 Williams’ Ch Druitz Black Prince.

PB (3) 1 Saich’s Zephon The Thunderstorm at Lindcoly, small black with lovely head & eye. Lovely tailset & right amount of body & size for age; 2 Hewett’s King And Mann Spellcast Talking About Me, good conformation, little larger & stronger than 1, but little to choose between them. Will change places many times. Gorgeous head & eye; 3 Davies’ Zephon The Firestorm at Undeg. JB (3) 1 Winser’s Lysebourne Aaliyah, feminine bitch. Lovely to go over, correct proportions, body & muscletone perfect for her age. Lovely colouring, although a little more coat would have completed the picture. Front & rear assembly good & moved well. Front movement excellent which was lacking today. CC, BOB; 2 Z The Thunderstorm at L; 3 Z The Firestorm at U. PGB (5) 1 Hamer’s Dagsljus Uptown Girl of Clarmer, cute lovely head & eye which I loved. Good mover, brisk & true. Correct body shape & bulk; 2 Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets with Azkaban, similar to 1, but stronger with good head. Good body shape. Nice length of neck into well laid shoulders. Moves well; 3 Beard’s Wyndlee Jenny. LB (5) 1 Francis, Pearce & Garbutt’s Nixtev Selenia with Longsdale, lovely cream, well bodied. Showy on the move. Bowed on the front when on the move which spoilt the effect. Lovely standing in good coat. Good head. RCC; 2 Clewer’s Spellcast Tell A Tail at Bullbo, liked this one. Sweet head with nice eye, good conformation. Very nice type. Good mover; 3 Williams’s Hocombe Party Popper at Druiz. OB (3) 1 Beard’s Goldenwhin Minnie The Minx, well made. Front & rear assembly good, friendly face. Moved well. Unfortunately out of coat; 2 Williams’ Ch Druitz Follow That Dream, totally out of coat. Lovely head, moved well.
