MPD (1) 1 Barnes & Hewett’s Spellcast Talk Tidee, sweet headed 7½ months babe, balanced outline with good neck supporting decent skull, well shaped eyes, good mouth & pigment. Good shoulders, nice spring & length of rib & level topline. Nice curl to tail. Firm on the move & true in both directions. Showed & presented very well. BP, RCC.
PD (2) 1 S Talk Tidee; 2 Holmes’ Leadbetter Frankie Goes To Hollywood, cream with a somewhat plain head right now who needs to grow into his ears which also need to firm up. His coat has left him at present & he was not happy to show off today. Decent width in front but is lacking in length of ribbing. Needs some time.
JD (1) 1 Saich’s Lindcoly Mischief Maker, in jet black jacket, pleasing head with neat muzzle, good stop & decent width of skull & nice set on of ears. Well sprung in body & nicely boned with tight feet. OK on the move with sufficient angulation at the rear.
PGD (3) 1 Hall’s Sobriety’s Grizzly Bear for Pufnstuf, well on size brown that was leader here for construction & type. Good head properties with eye colour & pigmentation to blend with his jacket. Nicely ribbed & bone compatible with his size. Good tailset & curl. Moved true in both directions on nice tight feet; 2 Hughes & Forrester’s Grizwold Muraco Moon over Candease, this cream has good muzzle to skull proportions, well set ears but they could be smaller. Would also prefer a nicer eye shape as his spoilt his expression. Has a well balanced outline & good tailset. Had started to lose his coat for summer. Moved OK going away but not quite as positive in front; 3 Holmes & Leadbetter’s Wyndlee Storm Rising.
LD (2,1a) 1 Cook & Clayton’s Studholme Moon Orbit, pleasing parti that is neat in every way, good coat both in volume & quality. Lovely head with good balance between muzzle & skull, small ears & perfect bite. Nicely boned with good feet & well ribbed with high set tail. Good on the move.
OD (4) 1 King’s Ch Grizwold Loki, showed his head off, in sparkling bright coat of good length & texture. Lovely head with well shaped eyes, excellent skull & beautifully set ears. Good for neck, shoulders & bone. Well sprung in rib of correct length & depth. Excellent tailset & moved really well in both directions proving his well balanced outline was maintained when moving. Demanded attention & won CC, BOB; 2 Thomas’ Ch Daraydale Lorenzo of Kelmorespitz, black which is somewhat bigger in ear than 1. Good head & nice mouth. Neat legs & feet & well up on his toes. Moved well particularly going away & has decent angles fore & aft. Stands rather short; 3 Smith’s Ch Spellcast Jivetalking.
VD (1) 1 Smith’s Wyndlee Ghostly Magic, pleasing head type with good pigment for his cream colour. Decent stop & width to skull, pleasing neck & good shoulder & upper arm angulation. Nice bone & excellent feet. Level topline & well carried tail. Move nicely in both directions.
MPB (3) 1 Barnes & Hewett’s Spellcast Now Ya Talkin, litter sister to BPD. Well grown brown which is lovely in front. Super head & mouth, well coated with nice bone & feet. Excellent tailset & nice on the move. I would prefer more length to her ribcage; 2 Pooley’s Azkaban Keep The Faith, pretty b/t with clear markings. Excellent head properties & well balanced in outline. Quite nicely boned & moved quite well but does need a little more all round, time is on her side; 3 Church & Bamford’s Fisherbloom Blue Moon with Claricheon.
PB (2) 1 S Now Ya Talkin; 2 F Blue Moon with C, grey/black Spitz colouration which is most attractive. Very typical in head features with good topline & tailset. Appears balanced but has little protection for her vital organs & is long in couplings. Her front construction was spoiling her forward action but OK at the rear.
JB (2) 1 Hamer & Cree’s Clarmers Best Buds with Gibbcree, very smart b/t with well balanced outline. Lovely head with dark eyes, neat, well set ears & decent width of skull. Good neck & shoulders & excellent topline. Well sprung in rib & standing on nicely boned legs & good feet. Moved beautifully & in the challenge her handler worked well to put all in to show her attributes properly. CC; 2 Clewer’s Bullbo Over The Moon, this cream was not in the best of coats today which did her no favours. She has a sweet expression due to her well shaped eyes but her ears do detract. Good mouth. Nicely boned. Not happy on the move which spoiled her in front.
PGB (2) 1 Alfred’s Nixtev Vitesse at Teamor, well constructed cream with good bone & feet & an excellent tailset. Perhaps would benefit from a smaller ear but quite typical in head properties. Moved rather well; 2 Saitch’s Lindcoly Pixie Princess, I noted wild & silly until the end of the class so if there had been more & she had been last she may have benefitted. Balanced & in good coat & condition. Liked her head & had good angles & tidy legs & feet. Certainly needs some training.
LB (3,1) 1 Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets With Azkaban, in jet black jacket of good texture. Lovely head with good mouth & nice eye shape, well set on ears. Correct spring & length to ribbing. Pleasing tailset & moved nicely in both directions; 2 Conway & Oakden’s Macpaws Roxy Rascal, pleasing head type with good stop & nice skull & good dark eyes. Notable for having really tight feet. Not so keen on her front assembly but well ribbed & level in topline. Not quite as positive on the move as the winner.
OB (6,1) 1 King’s Druitz Caraid Bach of Grizwold, the first three in the class were of similar quality so it came down to construction & showmanship. Clear coloured orange in decent coat. Lovely front, bone & head with pleasing expression & well set ears. Her neck, topline & well carried tail give her an excellent outline. Good on the move & handled to get the best from her. RCC; 2 Clewer’s Spellcast Tell A Tail at Bullbo, this black is nicely constructed & in good coat. Topline & tail are fine & she stands on super tight feet. Moved nicely but persisted in standing wide every time I looked at her; 3 Barnes & Hewett’s Ch Spellcast Talk To Da Tail. VB (0).
