Critique

I would like to thank the society for the appointment & also the exhibitors for coming & my steward Mrs Cox.

I was very impressed by the condition & muscletone of most of the entry.

V (1) 1 Smith’s Wyndlee Ghostly Magic, 8 years spritely cream dog in grand muscletone & overall condition. Effective mover. Stands well over his front on good feet & pasterns. Head of good balance & well set eyes neat all set ears. Good forechest & depth & spring of rib. PD (2) Two typy pups, the first far more mature than the second. 1 Hewett & Barnes’ Spellcast Talk Tidee, smart brown with good overall balance. Sturdy legs & feet, stands well over his front, due to his well laid shoulder & return of upper arm. Well off in the body department. Brisk mover. The first offspring of Ch Spellcast Talk To Me that I seem to appreciate; 2 Poultney’s Daraydala Meet Joe Black, black & at present slightly lighter in build than 1, but has much to like. JD (1) 1 S Talk Tidee. PGD (3,1a) 1 Day’s Sobriety’s Born To Be Wild, parti 3 year old, well built & of overall good proportions. Well made body, with good span & depth of ribcage. Smart on the move; 2 Bridle & Shutlar-Bond’s Sirchray Ampel Time, appealing black standing on lovely front & feet. Good wedge shaped head. LD (2,1) 1 Hall’s Sobriety’s Grizzly Bear for Pufnstuf, mature 23 months brown with lovely symmetry about him. Masculine head with good planes, neat ears, medium neck into well laid shoulder & return of upper arm. Good forechest. OD (4,1) 1 Chambers’ Ch Musique Worth The Wait, brown, lots of correct type about this lad, great balance. Good front & rear angles, & depth to leg length. Solid well knit body, short strong loin. Pleasing head shape & balance with moderate defined stop & neat well set ears which he used. Sound & purposeful mover. CC; 2 Smith’s Ch Spellcast Jivetalking, appealing black for overall typy & showmanship. Lovely front assembly & head shape. Not quite as well knit together as 1. RCC; 3 Thomas’ Dutch Ch Daraydala Lorenzo of Kelmorespitz.

PB (2) 1 Hewett & Barnes’ Spellcast Now Ya Talkin, feminine 9 months brown, with pleasing outline, which she holds on the move. Lovely spring & depth of rib & forechest. Good ratio of body to leg. Stands on good feet & strong pasterns, free brisk mover. BP & RCC; 2 Church & Bamford’s Fisherbloom Blue Moon with Claricheon, younger sable, not the type or maturity of 1. JB (3) 1 Hamer & Cree’s Ch Clarmers Best Buds with Gibbcree, appealing, smaller & very active & brisk on the move! Compact & well knit together. Feminine & very attractive wedge head with dark well shaped eyes, erect well carried ears. Well made body. Adult coat on the way. Tried hard not to win the class; 2 Clewer’s Bullbo Over The Moon, cream who is a little out of coat at present, but that helped show her good overall shape. Pleasing head with moderate stop. More slender through her body than 1; 3 Church & Bamford’s Fisherbloom Blue Moon with Claricheon. PGB (2,1) 1 Bennett’s Musique Mariella at Melitabe, refined perky deep brown with very alert attitude. Well placed & used neat ears on her typical head, very compact & well bodied. Not fond of the table so difficult to fully assess her. LB (2,1) 1 Barnes, Mann & Hewett’s Spellcast Talking About Me, well schooled medium sized black of great type, such harmony in her well knit body. Intelligent alert look in her eyes, in her broad wedge shaped head, with good finish to jawline. I liked the balance of her body to leg & also her good forechest & well placed shoulder assembly. In good coat & coat pattern. Smart & sound mover. CC & BOB. Her third am told & another by Talk To Me. OB (2) Litter sisters but quite different. 1 Clewer’s Spellcast Tell A Tail at Bullbo, I preferred the balance of this one, & her fluid movement over her sister, being a tad more compact, although 2nd scored more in head qualities. Pleasing mature body, well defined hindquarters; 2 Hewett & Barnes’ Ch Spellcast Talk To Da Tail, cream, very together & mature, & in great condition.
