VD (1) 1 Wyndlee Ghostly Magic. Attractive crème male, well proportioned and well up on legs. Typical head, attractive expression. Acceptable pigment for his colour. Adequate neck. Short back giving him a compact body, well set and carried tail. Very good feet. Efficient mover from all angles, I liked him very much and considered him for the top awards.
PD (7, 1) 1 Druitz By Design For Musique. Brown dog with easily the best proportions in the class. Typical head, I would have preferred darker eyes even for this colour, which would improve his expression. Used his neck well. Short, well collected body, excellent topline. He stood very well over his legs and feet. Long tail which he does not always know how to handle. Typical, brisk and active mover. BP. 2 Spellcast Talk Tidee. Larger brown dog, actually looking bigger than he is as he made the measure quite comfortably. Typical head, pleasing expression. Firm topline, well set tail. Still not quite as collected as the winner nor quite as good in movement from the side, needs to stabilise in front. 3 Longsdale's Turning Tables.
JD (2, 1) 1 Spellcast Talk Tidee.
PGD (4, 1) 1 Zephon King Of The Rock For Tispitza. An attractive very light crème dog who was light on his feet. Typical head, attractive expression from his dark eyes. Used his neck well both standing and moving. Firm topline, well set tail. Could be slightly shorter coupled. Excellent top coat who hid the fact well that he lacked undercoat on the day. Stood and moved very well over his legs and feet. 2 Grizwold Muraco Moon Over Candease. Crème dog, elegant and short coupled and of attractive type. Not the head of the winner nor the expression. Very good neck. Excellent topline and tailset. Another who moved light on his feet and reasonably coming and going. 3 Nixtev Uraxys At Jumasue.
LD (3) 1 Sobriety's Grizzly Bear For Pufnstuf JW. A big, masculine brown dog who made the measure, rather strong and powerful for my ideal, but still impressive in many ways. Typical, powerful head, eyes dark enough for his colour. Used his neck well, especially standing. Firm topline. Well set and carried tail. When getting into his stride, he moved soundly and efficiently. 2 Nickila Silver Sovereign. Dark wolf sable dog, instantly eye-catching. A lot more elegant than the winner, but somewhat short on legs. Beautiful head and expression. Lovely coat. Excellent topline and well set and carried tail. Very light on his feet, but would have liked to him to move forward with more efficiency. 3 Talking Tails Sterling Steward.
OD (4) 1 Ch Spellcast Jivetalking. A very attractive black dog, excelling in lovely square proportions and an outstanding outline. Well proportioned head, beautiful eyes and expression. Used his neck to his advantage. Short firm topline. Well set tail. Moderate but balanced angulation both ends. Pleasing coat quality and a moderate amount of coat that fits him very well and enhances his outline rather than hiding it. Moved very well indeed from the side, but tended towards sidetracking, he still won with something in hand. CC. 2 Ch Grizwold Loki. A very well proportioned sable dog of a type rarely encountered, but in most ways very attractive. More stop than my ideal. Small ears, which is fortunate as he did not have a lot of neck coat to hide them in. Short, very well collected body, well set and carried tail. A truly outstanding mover from any angle which won him the Res CC. 3 Ch Musique Worth The Wait.
GCD (1) 1 Nickila Silver Sovereign.
PB (7, 2) 1 Spellcast Now Ya Talkin. Brown bitch, very energetic and athletic. Not among the shortest in body, but well up on legs. Typical head, dark eyes for her colour. Firm topline. Well set tail and carried tail. Fine bone. Very enthusiastic in movement, tending to lift her front feet more than ideal. 2 Fisherbloom Moon River. Wolf coloured bitch of very attractive type and quality, but at this age has challenges with her large and not completely erect ears. Lovely eyes. Firm topline, well set tail. Moved light on her feet and with elegance. Beautiful, well conditioned coat. 3 Druitz Simply The Best.
JB (2, 1) 1 Bulabs Blonde Lady. Bitch with a beautiful crème colour, but rather short on legs and I would like her more elegant, including in her skull. Beautiful eyes, rather large ears. Well developed in body. Good tail. Lacking undercoat on the day. Movement rather unstable both ends, reasonable from the side.
PGB (2) 1 Bullbo Over The Moon. Strong and solid bitch, somewhat longer than ideal. Strong bitch head, ears are too wide set. Lovely pigment for her light crème colour. Firm topline, well set tail. Very sound and efficient mover. She needs more undercoat to improve on her silhouette. 2 Flamuna Khione. Very elegant, indeed too refined black bitch. Typical head, but it does not quite match the body nor the bone. Very short in body, she tended to hunch up. Attractive tail. Moved light on her feet.
LB (3, 1) 1 Zephor Akane. Sable bitch with attractive proportions and a very good mover. She was very much out of coat on the day, and this suited her only moderately well. Beautiful expression, but would be even better if the ears were better covered in the coat. Attractive neck, topline and tailset. Moved very well from all angles. 2 Nixtev Vitesse At Teamor. Crème bitch who makes a positive impression standing. Compact and well knit. Strong head for a bitch, excellent pigmentation. Firm topline. Unfortunately a less than average mover from all angles.
OB (6, 1) 1 Balt Fin Dutch Nord Ch Planata's American Dumdum. Simply lovely orange sable bitch of excellent type and quality and ideal square proportions. Typical, well proportioned head, lovely expression. Small, fine ears, well set. Excelled in forechest and used her neck to her advantage at all times. Firm topline, well set and carried tail. Beautiful, well conditioned coat with excellent thick undercoat, enhancing her shortness as she made a most attractive ball. Even if she could do with some more angulation behind, she moved very well indeed from all angles to win the CC & BOB. 2 Macpaws Roxy Rascal. Well proportioned, attractive black bitch. Strong, but well shaped bitch head, rather wide set ears. Strong neck, well set. Well angulated both ends. Firm toplne, well set and carried tail. Very beautiful coat and jet black colour. Sound and efficient mover from all angles, even if not quite up to the winner. Res CC. 3 Spellcast Talking About Me.
