Critique

PD (6) 1 Orr’s Sobriety Suited And Booted, smart & good for type, brisk mover, slightly inclined to lift his front legs too high moving, otherwise good on the move. Nice for size, liked his head & strong muzzle, ears a trifle set too wide. Overall a promising puppy; 2 Hill’s Flamuna Tarvas of Kilima, lovely sharp mover & also admired his proportions, eyes too round & staring, & he needs to get his act together, but he has promise; 3 Dyer & Vines’ Sobriety Something Wicked.

JD (7) 1 Roberts’ Longsdale’s Turning Tables at Cwrt Afon, really lovely young boy, his head is good for proportions & ears held perfectly, good front & shoulders set well, level back, powerful rear, well carried tail, a really top class boy, who outmoved his opposition. CC & BOB; 2 S Suited And Booted; 3 Rogerson’s Longsdale’s Rumour Has It with Nosregor.

PGD (4) 1 Saich’s Lindcoly Mischief Maker, both really over the top temperament wise & needs to calm down a touch! Winner lovely to go over & has a super stand off coat of super texture, good proportions of height to length, excellent brisk & true mover. Eyes could be a little more oval rather than round. Stands on good legs & tight cat feet; 2 Saich’s Lindcoly Fozzie Bear, great temperament, very exuberant, lovely colour, front OK but he does not flex his hind legs moving in profile & tends to shuffle behind, shows well & in lovely body.

LD (6) 1 Mulholland & Rogerson’s Zephon The Last Samurai, feet could be tighter & he needs to concentrate more but a good winner of limit. Nice outline & tailset, pleasing head & strength of muzzle, neat erect ears. Just slightly elbowy coming towards, but good profile & rear, excellent coat & condition; 2 Saich’s Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly, super coat & colour, neck very short rather than of moderate length, good head for his size, well bodied & level back, correct bend of stifle & neat on the move; 3 Taylor’s Zephon King Of The Rock for Tispitza.

OD (4) 1 Saich’s Zephon Akio at Lindcoly, a very nice quality spitz, I liked his head & length of foreface, neat ears set well up, OK in front & rear angles, but he could do with more muscletone. In good coat & has a lovely temperament, sound mover. RCC, brother to DCC; 2 Cook & Clayton’s Ch Studholme Moon Orbit, lovely colour, muzzle a trifle too short for his backskull & eyes too round. Good bone & feet, well bodied & ribbing carried nicely back, tail well over, good mover in profile too; 3 Swani’s Spellcast Team Talk. VD (1) 1 Smith’s Wyndlee Ghostly Magic, rather overweight in body but understandably at 9 years! Pleasing mover all round, in immaculate coat, tail well set & carried. Still has lovely feet.

PB (2) 1 Moir’s Jansanleis Envy, beautiful puppy of a high standard, liked her head, eye shape & strength of muzzle, ears set well up, sound front, enough bend of stifle & she moves really well, keeps a stunning outline in profile, coat needs to harden somewhat but fine for age. BP.

PGB (6) 1 Saich’s Lindcoly Wishing On A Star, full of herself & enjoying her day in the ring! A little down at the front, good bone for her size & a feminine head & expression, very good going away & she has a typical stride.

LB (6) 1 Hughes & King’s Zephon Akane, a beauty, really good to go over, she has a lovely head, eyes & earset, correct front & length of neck, ideal length to height proportions, good legs & feet, smart true mover with a fair amount of style & class. CC; 2 Andrew’s Claran Pepperpots, attractive girl, maybe ears could be set a trifle closer together but I think she was very out of coat this accentuated her ears. Pleasing to go over, good leg length with a fair amount of body & good ribbing, excellent topline & tail, showing well; 3 Saich’s Lindcoly Pixie Princess.

OB (5) 1 Duncan’s Ir Ch Spellcast Talk Of The Town, in good coat & condition, smart mover, moderate in all departments which was nice to see, good head, ears could be a little higher for better expression. Otherwise a very good quality bitch; 2 Clewer’s Spellcast Tell A Tale at Bullbo, she could show herself off a little more & use her ears better, but on the move she is extremely good all ways & shows a typical spitz movement. Her outline rather falls apart standing though, sister to 1; 3 King’s Druitz Cariad Bach of Grizwold.

VB (3) 1 Moir’s Ch Nixtev Liberty at Jansanleis, smart, full of herself & determined to show the youngsters how to do it. Nearly 9 years & still in lovely nick. Liked her head & earset, super body & topline & she is a sharp brisk mover. RCC; 2 D Cariad Bach of G, another lovely girl, appealed in head & expression, sound front, enough neck, super angles for the breed. Moving too close going away otherwise a beauty.
