PD (2) 1 Barnes & King's Spellcast Talk With Me. Slightly higher in leg, but this made him look more square and allowed better appreciation of his excellent, brisk reach and drive, parallel movement both ways and always holding a level topline.Well proportioned head with dark obliquely set oval eyes. Highset tail, compact feet and in good coat. Best Dog Puppy & Best Puppy In Breed. 2 Rogerson's Fisher Bloom Black Shamen With Nosregor TAF. Lovely alert expression, good neck and well presented coat. Outline not yet mature and gathered.
JD (2) 1 Roberts' Longsdale Turning Tables At Cwrtafon. Really alert and showy, he simply never stopped. Both dogs had excellent teeth and bites and used their ears well.Liked his neck, forechest, level topline, highset tail, sufficient bone and compact feet. Being short coupled also made for a compact outline. Reserve Best Dog. 2 Chambers' Druitz By Design For Musique. A very nice mover when settled which unfortunately was not often. The need for constant handling also spoiled appreciation of his topline. Eyes appeared more round than oval, but again this might just have reflected his state of mind on this day.
LD (1) 1 Hall's Sobriety's Grizzly Bear For Pufnstuf JW. Lovely compact outline and well presented mature coat. Good balance to the head with width to the skull and strength in the tapered jaw. Excellent teeth and bite. Nice obliquely placed eyes. Moved strongly with reach and drive. Constant showmanship with neck well used and level back. Best Dog.
PB (5) 1 Rolleston's Kelham Love Is In The Air. Lovely coat for her age, with attractive head and expression enhanced by black pigmentation against the cream hair. Not over-long in outline and in my opinion the best mover in this class. Lovely topline and tailset. Best Bitch Puppy. 2 Hall's Spellcast Lets Ava Talk At Pufnstuf. Another cream about whom many of the same things could be said. Good mover, but a bit longer in outline and coat less well developed. 3 Taylor's Clarmer's Mischief Managed Under Tispitza.
PGB (1) 1 Hewett & Barnes' Spellcast Speaks For Itself. Very showy, lovely head and expression and nice free relaxed reach and drive. Compact, smaller, but lots of ring presence.Reserve Best Bitch.
LB (1) 1 Hewett & Barnes' Spellcast Now Ya Talking. Liked her head and expression, her coat and compact outline with level topline and good coat. In outline showed good reach and drive, but a bit untidy coming and going.
OB (2, 1) 1 Hewett & Barnes' Ch Spellcast Talk To Da Tail ShCM. I am ashamed to say that cream/white dogs with black pigmentation will always catch my eye in any breed. However, in this case there was plenty to make my eyes linger. Immaculate coat on a compact short coupled body with the right amount of leg for balance Enough depth of chest and well ribbed up. Strong correct movement back and front enhanced by consistent showmanship.Well balanced head with width to skull moderate stop and strong tapering muzzle, well placed eyes and ears with alert confident expression. She had to be Best Bitch & Best Of Breed.
