Critique

I am sorry for the delay in submitting the critiques. An incident had been recorded on my voice recorder and it was needed elsewhere but it has now been returned to me. Thank you to the committee for the invitation and to my excellent stewards for their attention. It was not a large entry but I had some super dogs in both sizes. Thank you exhibitors for the opportunity to judge your dogs.
I am not a fanatic about size at either end of the spectrum but found quite a few dogs in both sizes pushing the measure or lifting it. In general I will prefer a well balanced dog pushing the measure to an unbalanced short legged one going under it, but it is something to be mindful of as it ever was Temperaments were excellent and though some dogs were out of coat most had enough to gauge the quality.

PD (4 1) 1 Mesdames Player and Waters Longsdale's No Regrets At Wayworthy
Black dog with super outline, good well balanced head, neck well let into shoulders and good body and coat for age. Balanced angulation. Moved well in all directions. BPIB 2 Mr K O’Leary’s Cadasaro Tamino. Well grown with an attractive balanced head, nice eye and ears, quality coat, well developed body, not as balanced at present as 1 but moved purposely in all directions.

JD (1 ) 1 Mesdames Brock and Petersons Jansanleis Polar Express To Pomkins. Great for size and proportions this white dog is so well balanced. Good head with correct ears and eyes and excellent pigment, Tight tail and well presented coat. He kept his topline at all times as he moved briskly and soundly in all directions.

LD (2 ) 1 Mrs D Roberts Longsdale's Turning Tables at Cwrt Afon Another with a good head and eye and well placed ears, straight front and, good tail set , moved out soundly. 2 Mr & Mrs C J & L M Saich Lindcoly Mischief Maker Smaller compact dog, nice ears, not the eye of 1, but well bodied and with balanced angulation front and back. Not as settled on the move.
OD (6 1) 1 Miss H M Hall Sobriety's Grizzly Bear For Pufnstuf JW Up to size this brown dog has great balance. Lovely head proportions with good eye and ears, masculine in outlook. Strong neck. Good front and back angulation, well ribbed body and broad loin with well set tail. Good texture to coat. Moved soundly in this class and in the challenge to win DCC. 2:Mr K O' Leary & Miss C Hamer Ir Ch Borndownunder Talking Heads Of Clarmer (Imp) Well constructed cream dog with pleasing masculine head, firm body and good loin with well set and carried tail. Sound quarters and moved out well. RDCC 3 Mrs L Hewett Ch Spellcast Shout About It

PB (3 1) 1 Miss T Taylor Clarmers Mischief Managed Under Tispitza . Black bitch well up on the leg but balanced outline. Attractive head with good ears and eye. Well constructed front and back and hiding nothing as not in coat. Raw at present but full of promise. Moved out soundly. 2 Miss A Drechsler Longdale's New Addition. Very feminine gold bitch with good pigment and pleasing head. Well bodied and nice angles, not as balanced as 1 at present but moved well.
JB (2) 1 Mrs & Miss Moir. Jansanleis Envy. Very feminine compact bitch with a super outline who has all the goodies. Lovely head with good eyes and ears and expression. Enough neck fitting well into her shoulders which have correct angles. Well developed body and well ribbed up and back. Good firm loin and quarters and well let down hocks. Tail is well set and carried and she has a good texture to her spotless coat. She moved soundly and evenly at all times BCC and BOB. 2 Miss T Taylor Clarmers Mischief Managed Under Tispitza.
PGB (3 1) 1 Jansanleis Envy 2 Mesdames Barnes and King, Spellcast Speaks For Itself. Feminine brown with a lovely expression and balanced head. Everything fitted together nicely, well made throughout not the tail set and carriage of 1.
LB (2 1) 1 Mesdames Barnes & King I Spellcast Now Ya Talkin JW Another feminine brown of good proportions, pleasing head balance with good expression. Well angled front and back and moved well when settled.
OB (2 )1 Mrs C L Hull Ch Clarmers Best Buds With Gibbcree. Attractive head with nice ears on this feminine black and tan. Well set neck into good shoulders and firm body with balanced angulation, good tail set and pushed the CC winner hard. Moved well in all directions RBCC . 2 Mr K O’Leary. Ir Ch Utopia Aus Dem Norden At Cadasaro Jnr ch. White with good pigment, correct eye, and head balance, ears a tad large, well made through out with firm body. Good side gait but a bit untidy going away.
