The mittels were more even in type – but size seems to be an issue with a number being very small especially in the bitches and I felt would be able to pass as top size kleins. Again eye shape is something to watch for and improve. The open dog class was the best class of the day and I was spoiled for choice.
MPD (1, 0) 1. Hall & Rolleston’s Bullbo Show Stopper for Ghilgrange, cream baby of lovely shape, compact and well boned. Head is correct wedge with flat skull and lovely oval dark eye. Well coated and has from back and good angles. Little erratic on the move die to youthful exuberance. Hope he continues to mature into nice dog.
PD (2, 0) 1. Rogerson & Rogerson & Mullholland’s Fisherbloom Black Shamen With Nosregor, cracking pup, well matured and in excellent coat with good bone to tight cat feet. Well set tail. Correct wedge head, broad flat skull and neat ears set highly. Lovely dark oval eye and defined stop creating correct expression. Little loose in front on move but has lively action and good stride, BP.
2. Bullbo Show Stopper for Ghilgrange.
JD (2, 0) 1. Brock & Peterson’s Jansanleis Polar Express To Pomkins, different types, excellent presentation, compact shaped smaller framed dog, well boned to cat feet. Firm back, good angles and high set tail. Head of correct shape with flat skull, well proportioned muzzle and heat ears. Moved soundly from all directions.
2. Orr’s Sobriety Suited And Booted, taller size but still compact in outline and balanced, excellent tail. Strong wedge head and flat skull, correct oval eye, found his ears a shade large and wide set which affects expression, good stop. Needs to tighten in front on move, otherwise covers ground briskly.
YD (1, 1) absent.
PGD (1,0) 1. Heslop’s Flamuna Zetes, lovely for breed type, with correct wedge head, showing defined stop, correct oval eye and neat ears. Found him a shade longer in back than main winners. Little unsettled so tail carried a little low at times Moves well.
LD (4, 0) 1. Saich’s Lindcoly Mischief Maker, smaller framed but well proportioned and good bone. Correct head, wedge with flat skull, neat ears and good eye. In excellent coat. High set tail, good angles and moves well.
2. Hearson’s Nixtev Uraxys At Jumasue,, good size, not quite the expression of the winner, ears on the large size, correct dark oval eye. Strong muzzle. Prefer straighter front. Well angulated and high set tail, moved ok but needs to tighten in front.
3. Heslop’s Flamuna Arktouros
OD (5,0) 1. Smith’s Ch Spellcast Jivetalking, heading the best class of the day for depth of quality and type, one I have admired before – and today was the complete picture. Correct size and in excellent coat, which stands off well giving correct mane and well presented. Stands alert to handler and four square. Well boned to cat feet. Loved his head, correct wedge with strong well developed muzzle, neat ears and almond eye. Well-developed chest, straight legs, and good angulation front & rear. Moved briskly – sound from all angles. DCC, BOB.
2. Garbutt’s Nixtev Polarize, compact in profile, excellent angulation. Lovely coat and condition. Tight high set tail. Attractive head, high set ears, and correct oval dark eye, being picky muzzle is a shade long. Good chest and straight front. Moved well but not the drive of the winner.
3. Caldow’s Flynn's Fly'ing Scotsman Over Livlandean
GCD No Entries.
MPB (2, 0) 1. Roberts’ Billboard Star Attraction At Cwrtafon, lovely shape, high set tail, excellent coat. Head is immature as expected at this age, and needs to grow into ears. Well-constructed and moves well.
2. Drechsler’s Longdale's New Addition, excellent coat, compact in outline. Preferred head to that of winner, has correct oval eye. But very erratic on the move.
PB (1, 0) 1. Williams & Williams’ Dulais Moonlight Over Paris At Trebettyn, this pup was rather out of coat, but on the plus side it meant you can really appreciate her shape and confirmation and see how well made she is. Excellent angles, firm short back to high set tail. Well boned legs to tight feet. Correct wedge head with excellent eye and neat ears. Very alert and well-schooled. Light on her feet, super in profile, just a shade close behind.
JB (6,1) 1. Dulais Moonlight Over Paris At Trebettyn
2. Pearce & Francis’ Kelham Love And Romance With Longsdale NAF TAF, lovely compact shape, excellent coat and presentation. Slightly finer build to winner. Good angles and high set tail. Feminine head, lovely eye fir shape and colour, prefer more strength to muzzle, ears a liutle big. Moved very well in all directions.
3. Moir’s Jansanleis Envy.
YB (2,1) 1. Garbutt’s Nixtev Yazara, lovely outline in profile, compact. Prefer more hind angulation. Correct wedge head, flat skull dark eye and high set ear, well-proportioned muzzle, creates attractive expression. Moves well just a shade close behind.
PGB (4, 1) 1. Garbutt & Corkin’s Nixtev Xamira, another quality butch from this kennel, lovely compact shape, excellent coat and bone to tight feet. Firm back and high set tail. Well-developed head, flat skull, lovely eye shape and colour, and neat ears. Easy mover, light on feet, and considered for higher honours.
2. Moir’s Jansanleis Envy, smaller framed, excellent coat. Short back to high set tail. Lovely wedge head, with good muzzle, correct eye. Ears a little large. Well boned straight legs to tight feet. Little unsettled at first. Moved well.
3. Purves’ Bulabs Blonde Lady.
LB (5, 0) 1. Pearce, Mr G & Francis Mr D Longsdale's One And Only, quality bitch, striking in outline, lovely overall balance, and neat compact profile. Good bone to tight feet, firm back and high set tail. Well-developed chest. Love her head shape, such a good wedge, with muzzle of good proportion and strength, lovely eye for shape and colour, high set neat ears, gives correct expression. Well angulated front and rear, which shows on move, good in all directions. Well shown and presented, not quite in full coat, but has correct harsh outer coat and soft undercoat. CC, I believe her 3rd, and looking at the catalogue, I realise I awarded her the RCC last time I judged from PB, so delighted she has fulfilled my expectations.
2. Smith’s Spellcast Kiss'n Tell, larger framed bitch, excellent bone to good feet. Well coated and presented. Correct wedge head, good eye, but ears shade big. Good chest, short back, high set tail. Moved well.
3. Heslop’s Flamuna Babyshambles.
OB (4,1) 1. Moir’s Ch Jansanleis Mayhem JW, another quality bitch, lovely compact outline, excellent coat and presentation. Correct angulation and length of neck, so not stuffy. Tail carried well. Good wedge shaped head and flat skull, would prefer more oval eye, has near high set ears, correct muzzle and smooth cheek. Good chest, stands 4 square, moved well, RCC.
2. Duncan’s Ir Ch Spellcast Talk Of The Town, another bitch will a lot of excellent qualities, compact in outline, excellent coat, showing correct coarse outer layer. Firm short back, good angles. Attractive wedge head, good eye, prefer smaller ears, flat skull and strong muzzle. Another positive mover from all directions.
3. Smith’s Kyra's Highland Princess.
GCB (1,0) 1. Moir’s Ch Nixtev Liberty at Jansanleis, compact cream, good outline, high set tail. Not in best jacket today. Good angulation and neck and covers ground well and sound from all angles. Would prefer flatter skull to head, and stronger muzzle for better balance.
