Critique
Sorry that Richard Lemon was unable to judge his entry today. I do hope all is well with him. A tidy entry with no CC's, delighted with all aspects of those who made the trip, most were so typical of the breed, and with excellent presentation and temperament. Very enjoyable, thank you one and all.
PD 1 Clayton's Studholme Bone Cruncher. 12 month old, black, almost out of puppy, and so robust. Correct profile, neat well balanced head, soft but very attentive expression, ok for coat. Tail well set. Angles good, rear needs to firm up, did well on the move, proving his construction is correct. Well done.
JD 1 Hughes & Forrester's Marlais Moonlight Serenade Over Candease. 14 month old lovable black, really took my eye. Profuse coat, well balanced head, ears well set, and used well. Very confident on the table. Good for substance, quite firm for one so young, carried his tail well. On the move he was not only sound, but very buoyant, so well collected, and kept together by good handling. RBD.
2 Orr's Sobriety Suited And Booted. 17 month old, cream, good head, excellent bone. Correct angles, sound on the move, coat not quite full, but well presented. Handled well, very confident.
OD 1 Hearson's Nixtev Uraxys At Jumasue. Three and a half year old, mature white exhibit. Such a confident young man. Coat in full bloom, masculine, well proportioned headpiece, well padded muzzle, good eye colour. Strong neck of good length into a firm, short, well muscled topline. Shoulders of good length and at the correct angle, elbows well tucked in. Nice tuck at loin. Hindquarters well put together, giving him a sound steady gait. Very hard to beat on the day. BD, BOB.
2 Hall's Sobriety's Grizzly Bear For Pufnstuf JW. 3 years of age, brown, sure of himself, good head, coat good, feet ok, movement good, must keep him straight, his time will come. Handled well. Liked him.
PB 1 Roberts' Bulbo Star Attraction At Cwrtafon. 6 month old smart quality white, so much to like about her. Loved her dark eye shape and well used ears. Good for coat but still more to come I would expect. So feminine in expression, well defined wither, top line quite firm for her age. Has very good angles both front and rear. Tidy feet. This girl is so promising, and a delight to go over. Well done. Loved her. RBB, BPB.
2 Clayton's Studholme Phizz Wizard. 12 mths parti black of good size, in coat and moved ok. Promising.
PB 1 Taylor's Clarmers Mischief Managed Under Tispitza. 13 month old black, good for size, and on her toes, quite athletic on the move. Very well collected in presentation, so good for type which showed at all times, could not fault her for temperament. So good in profile. On the move she was so well balanced and so sound, good reach but not overdone. Another one to watch. Well done. BB.
2 Hall's Spellcast Lets Ava Talk At Pufnstuf. 13 mths, cream, head in proportion, good bone, enough coat, moved out ok, very sound, rather long cast.
PGB 1 Taylor's Charmer Mischief Managed Under Tispitza. Same as junior.
