Critique

GERMAN SPITZ - MITTEL
Some of the lower dog classes were rather disappointing in quality and movement was not at all good, however, the OD class was splendid with plenty of talent and the bitches throughout were more even and better all round. I was delighted to watch my BOB be placed fourth in the Utility Group. Had he been in full coat he may even have gone higher as he is a top class representative of his breed.

PD (4, 2) 1 Saich's Lindcoly The One An Only. 7 mths particolour, shapely, compact puppy, so full of mischief, he did not have many moments standing still, but occasionally got his act together on the move! Attractive head, clean and well presented coat, good body, promising but needs a little schooling. 2 Garbutt's Nixtev Zeventis. 6 mths black, quality puppy, plenty of coat already, steady showman, well handled and conditioned, high set tail, masculine head, kind dark eyes, movement needs to firm up, presently looks a shade long cast.

JD (6, 1) 1 Hughes & Forrester's Marlais Moonlight Serenade Over Candease. 14 mths black, best silhouette in this class, most appealing head and expression, dark intelligent eyes, high set tail, good coat and body, showed non stop but I should like to see better movement. 2 King's Gronw October Moon Of Grizwold. Litter brother to first, keen expression, showy and co-operative, good coat and body, moved better than his brother but a little long cast. 3 L The One And Only.

PGD (6, 1) 1 Rogerson & Mulholland's Fisherbloom Black Shaman With Nosregor. 13 mths, smart youngster in good coat, happy showman, good head and expression, lovely eyes, firm body, well presented, good bone and feet, handled to advantage, moved ok. 2 Orr's Sobriety Suited And Booted. 19 mths cream, quality head, expressive eyes, good silhouette, high set tail, strong body, moved well behind but needs to strengthen in front movement. 3 Connor's Galvizach Daraydala Class Act.

LD (5, 1) 1 Hughes & Forrester's Grizwold Muraco Moon Over Candease ShCM. 3 yrs cream with good outline and overall proportions, intelligent expression, excellent coat, used himself well on the move, well presented and handled, steady showman. 2 Roberts' Longsdale Turning Tables At Cwrtafon. 2 yrs, pleasing head, kind expression, clean well turned out coat, good tail set, focused showman, well handled, nothing in it when they were standing but first scored in movement. 3 Hearson's Nixtev Uraxys At Jumasue.

OD (9, 2) 1, CC & BOB, Smith's Ch Spellcast Jivetalking. 6 yrs old black, by far the best mover today. Lovely size and type, compact body, great outline, high set tail, masculine head, at one with his handler both standing and moving, very fit and well bodied, harsh jacket but not in full coat today, still has nothing to hide. 2 & RCC, Garbutt's Nixtev Polarize. 7 yrs old cream, full of life and vitality, good mouth, cle3an, well presented coat, good body and bone, attractive head, expressive eyes, another who showed non stop, moved well behind, shade wide in front movement. 3 Caldow's Flynn's Flying Scotsman Over Livlandean. Completed a good trio, not yet 2, very good head and eyes, lots of coat, strong body, well proportioned, good tail set, showed well throughout, moved ok.

PB (4) 1 & BP, Pearce & Francis' Longsdale's Love Is War. 7 mths cream, already an accomplished showgirl, clean silhouette, pretty head, expressive eyes, well fitting coat, good body, moved well behind, well handled. 2 Hull's Clarmers Little Banshee. 7 mths, very vivacious little showgirl, keen and willing to show off, excellent body, needs to settle in movement. 3 Roberts' Bullbo Star Attraction At Cwrtafon.

JB (7) 1 & RCC, Pearce & Francis' Kelham Love And Romance With Longsdale. 14 mths, gorgeous cream who has that special look of star quality, lovely head, eyes and expression, most appealing in every way, superb coat, firm body, moved and showed well, I was all set to give her the CC but then standing she managed to look a shade long in body which she certainly wasn't on the move, so had to be content with the RCC. 2 Moir's Jansanleis Envy. 17 mths, not far behind here, well constructed, feminine youngster in good form, showy and focused, easy brisk movement, good coat and body, good prospect. 3 Taylor's Clarmers Mischief Managed Under Tispitza.

PGB (5) 1 & CC, Garbutt's Nixtev Yazara. Nearly 2, this cream quality bitch, well balanced outline and proportions, pretty face, sturdy body, excellent coat, moved with style and precision, good quarters, sired by the RCC dog, vivacious showgirl, well handled and presented. 2 Taylor's Clarmers Mischief Managed Under Tispitza. Third in the strong JB class, 14 mths black, delightful character, good head, excellent coat and presentation, well conditioned, high set tail, promising. 3 Purves' Bulabs Blonde Lady.

LB (8, 2) 1 Alfred's Nixtev Vitesse At Teamor. 3 yrs, cream, showy and co-operative, very good head and eyes, clean outline, excellent coat, well bodied, moved ok. 2 Garbutt & Corkin's Nixtev Xamira. 2 yrs plus, white, standing a bit careless in front at times, feminine head, well proportioned, plenty of coat, happy showgirl, moved well behind. 3 Connor's Galvizach Daraydala Top Class.

OB (7, 3) 1 Moir's Ch Jansanleis Mayhem JW. 6 yrs, cream, lovely typy bitch, but unfortunately out of coat today, good size, appealing head, keen bright expression, nicely proportioned, expertly handled, moved and showed well. 2 Duncan's Ir Ch Spellcast Talk Of The Town. 5 yrs, black, who was clearly enjoying herself, well coated, no more weight please, positive showgirl who trotted her stuff with confidence, pleasing head, a littler longer cast than first. 3 Blight's Flamuna Curtain Call For Rosechow.
