Critique

Mittel – Dogs
Minor Puppy (2,1) 1. William & Griffiths’ Cadasaro Party Animal. Promising 8 month pup, very much a baby with a good outline and good angles. Attractively marked, coat coming in. Moved well when he settled. 
Puppy (1) 1. Hewett’s Spellcast Talk Tidee. Really took my attention. 10 month brown, mature puppy and looking quite ‘finished’. Lovely head and expression. In full coat and presenting an impressive picture, of good size and with a lovely square outline. Moved very soundly when given the opportunity to move out. Was even better in challenge and couldn’t deny him – awarding BD, BOB and eventually, BIS.
Junior (1) 1. Hewett’s Spellcast Talk Tidee. (see previous class)
Special Yearling (1) 1.Saich’ Lindcoly Mischief Maker. Young black with a delightful character. Good flat skull and nice expression. Coat still coming in but of good quality. Nice balance and moved soundly.
Post Graduate (2) 1. Hearson’s Nixtev Uraxys at Jumasue. Really liked this top end white boy. Good head and expression, lovely shape and construction, good bone. Frustratingly he would not move properly. 2. Saich’ Lindcoly Fozzie Bear. Smaller dog of longer cast. Lovely head and expression and sporting a very well presented coat of good quality. Moved ok but a little close behind.
Limit (5,1) Quality class. 1. Hall’s Sobriety’s Grizzly Bear for Pufnstuf JW. A lot in common with my BD this substantial brown has terrific overall balance, and correct square outline. Lovely head and expression. In good coat, presented well. Good bone. Moved very soundly. RBD and RBOB. 2. Saich’ Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly. Lovely red sable presented in great fit condition. Just preferred the length of back of 1, but a close decision. Moved well. 3. Wilson’s Nickila Silver Sovereign. 4. Saich’ Lindcoly It’s Cheeko Time.
Open (3) A difficult class. 1. Saich’ Zephon Akio at Lindcoly. Very sound sable of medium size. Attractive head and expression. Slightly longer cast than I would prefer, but very well put together with good bone. Moved well. 2. Hewitt’s Ch Spellcast Shout About It. Really liked this black with his handsome head and classic outline. While not abundant, he had sufficient coat and of good quality and was in tip top condition. Unfortunately he insisted on crabbing on the move and it cost him. 3. Garbutt’s Nixtev Polarize.
Veteran (2) 1. Alfred’s Lubice Just William. Very nice 8 year old with good shape and balance. Handsome head. His white jacket was presented so well. A delightful picture. Very tidy on the move. 2. Pooley’s Wyndlee Short N’ Sweet at Azkaban. Another handsome boy with a lovely head. Slightly longer cast than 1. While he was neat on the move would have liked a little more extension.

Mittel – Bitches
Minor Puppy (2) Two very nice cream puppies. 1. Garbutt’s Nixtev Yazara. Attractive baby with good outline and super puppy coat. Nicely put together with good bone and overall very balanced outline. Just took this class on her slightly steadier movement today. BPB 2. Francis & Pearce’s Longsdale’s One And Only. Very pretty youngster with lovely head and super pigment. Slightly longer cast but still a very balanced puppy and the decision was close. 
Puppy (2,1) 1. Pooley’s Azkaban Keep The Faith. Pretty tri colour puppy with a nice head and expression. Slightly long cast, but sound and brisk movement around the ring.
Junior (4) 1. Hamer & Cree’s Clarmers Best Buds with Gibbdree. A sweetheart! 16 months black tri with the prettiest of heads and a super square outline. Left her coat at home but still stood out. Very sound construction showed on the move. Loved her. RBB. 2. Purves’ Bulabs Blonde Lady. Dark cream with a good head and very pretty expression. Nice shape and sound on the move. 3. Wells’ Bulabs Lady Penelope at Wolfcreek. 4. Saich’ Zephon Dreamd Made With Love at Lindcoly
Special Yearling (2) 1. Purves’ Bulabs Blonde Lady. (as before) 2. Wells’ Bulabs Lady Penelope at Wolfcreek. Third in Junior, striking white with beautiful orange ears. Square on the stand. Unfortunately spent her time on the move looking at her handler, making her front movement difficult to assess.
Post Graduate (3) 1. Heslop’s Flamuna Khione. I wrote: Bang out of coat but square, sound and pretty – all of which she was. Good outline and sufficient bone. Moved nicely. 2. Saich’ Lindcoly Pixie Princess. 2 year old black with play on her mind today. Really pretty feminine head. A little off-square, but nice girl. 3. Saich Lindcoly Wishing On A Star.
Limit (5,1) 1. Pooley’s Spellcast Talking Secrets With Azkaban. Another black in her underwear! Good shape, very pretty in head, good bone and very sound on the move. 2. Purves’ Bulabs Leading Lady. Dark cream bitch with a very nice outline, good in coat and sound on the move. 3. Alfred’s Vixtev Vitesse At Teamor. 4. Saich Bulabs Staring Stephenie For Lindcoly
Open (7,1) Splitting hairs between 1 and 2 in this class of quality bitches – both creams and both very sound on the move. 1. Garbutt’s Ch Oh My God AV Ostretunet (imp Nor). Good square outline and very pretty in head. Good construction and in lovely coat, well presented. Moved well. BB and BOS. 2. Francis & Pearce’ Ch Nixtev Selenia With Longsdale. Comments as above but with lovely neat ears on this girl. She is a little longer cast but again, so sound on the move. Pushed hard for reserve bitch. 3. Ord’s Ch Pufnstuf Put A Spell On You At Sobriety. 4. Saich’ Ichmoran Primrose Polka. VHC. Saich’ Zephon The Thunderstorm At Lindcoly.
Veteran (3,2) 1. Alfred’s Rossfort Violet Elizabeth At Teamor. Very attractive 9 year old. Square on the stand with pretty head with lovely eye shape and neat ears. Super coat, well presented. Smooth on the move.
