GERMAN SPITZ - MITTEL
MPD (1) 1. Melitabe Super Trouper. Attractive brown puppy, he has come a long way already. He has very good length of leg and a short body, making an attractive silhouette. Masculine head, well made, excellent expression, very good ears. Good rise of neck, well set. He stood firmly over his legs and feet. Well set tail. He has very good coat on the front, but needs to fill in between the neck and the tail. Very good coat quality. A sound and positive mover from all angles. One for the near future.
PD (1) 1. Lindcoly Blue Moon. A strong, masculine dog, looked big, but made the wicket. Lovely blue colour, he has a matching eye colour. Head could be a bit more distinct as it is rather round. Ears could be smaller. Strong neck. Good front. Harsh topcoat, he is still awaiting his undercoat to fill out his frame. Well set tail, strong topline. A very dynamic and enthusiastic mover, he impressed from the side, if not quite as much coming and going.
JD (1) 1. Hocombewood Jailhouse Roc. A typey dog with a very attractive silhouette, excellent proportions. His head is a bit stronger than I prefer, definitely masculine, could do with a little more length of muzzle. Good ears. Strong neck, well set, strong topline and well set tail. Beautiful coat, both underwool and topcoat to make a ball, rich brown. Balanced angulation both ends. He retains his balance on the move, but needs to stabilize a bit in front, tending to toe in.
PGD (2,1) 1. Marlais Moonlight Serenade over Candease. Black dog of quality. He has a typical head and almond shaped eyes, when using his ears they are good as well. Medium neck. Front legs could be a little straighter, but they are straighter on the move. Very good topline, well set tail. Balanced angulation behind. He has plenty of undercoat, but needs some more top coat. A parallel mover, he keeps his balance from the side as well.
LD (3) 1. Fisherbloom Black Shamen with Nosregor. A typey dog, well proportioned, he has a lovely head and expression. Excellent small ears. Good neck into withers. Firm and straight topline, well set tail. Moderate angulation behind. Beautiful coat and colour, red wolf sable. He moves with style and carriage, if a little staccato. 2. Studholme Kiss of Ozzy. A very short coupled crème dog of very pleasing type and quality. Excellent head and pigment for his colour, beautiful eyes. Could make better use of his ears. Balanced angulation both ends. He tends to arch his topline quite a bit. Pleasing coat. He moved well from the side, acceptable coming and going. 3. Nixtev Uraxys at Jumasue.
OD (7) 1.Ch. Grizwold Loki. Typey dog, he is well up on legs and very short in his body without it in any way restricting his movement. Typical head, well proportioned and shaped. Excellent ears. Good rise of neck, well set into body. Firm topline, well set and carried tail. Moderate, but well balanced movement both ends. In quite a pleasing jacket, not overdone. He is a sound and efficient mover, at all times keeping his outline. I was pleased to have the opportunity to judge him again and to awared him the CC & BOB. 2. Hocombewood Hot Toddy for Lindcoly. A smaller dog, still within proportions, if not quite the length of leg of the winner. Typical head and expression. Eyes consistent with his coat colour. Could do with a little more neck. Well balanced angulation, firm topline, well set and carried tail. His bite is not his fortune, but acceptable. A very good mover from all angles. Lovely coat, truly making a ball. ResCC. 3. Longsdale's Turning Tables at Cwrt Afon.
VB (1) 1. Druitz Cariad Bach of Grizwold. Very feminine bitch, elegant. Pleasing head proportions, if a little plain in expression. Rather big ears. Good neck. Short, firm topline. Well set tail. She moves very well from all angles. Could do with some more body mass. Balanced angulation both ends. Good coat structure, if not a very rich undercoat.
MPB (3,2) 1. Nosregor Lullabye. Beautiful black bitch with excellent proportions. Well up on legs, short body. She has a stunning silhouette already at just six months old. Typical black head, well shaped. Very good ear-set. Excellent neck into shoulder, excellent topline and tailset. Beautiful coat. She moved well from the side, still needs to stabilize coming and going. A future champion for sure, happy to award her the CC.
PB (1) 1. Lindcoly Wishing On a Dream. A very friendly bitch with a sense of humour. She is very elegant and feminine. Quite well proportioned. Her head could be a little stronger, good ears. Dark eyes. Medium neck. Moderate, balanced angulation both ends. Good topline. Pleasing coat. Needs to synchronize better on the move and could carry her head higher.
JB (3,1) 1. Clarmers Little Banchee with Kitzune. Big and strong bitch, not as feminine as I would prefer. Goes for her head as well. Strong neck, well set. Firm topline, but too long. Well set and carried tail. Well angulated both ends. A sound mover, especially form the side. Well handled. 2. Longsdale's New Addition. A bitch that is more feminine and has better body proportions but she is rather lack-lustre both standing and moving. Pleasing head, could make better use of her ears. Enough neck. Firm topline, well set tail. A reasonable mover from the side, she is not sound enough as viewed from behind. Acceptable coat.
PGB (2,1) 1. Galvizach Moon Chimes. Creme bitch, well proportioned, she is quite shapely. Feminine head, just enough pigment for her coat colour. Dark eyes, on the round side. Very good ears. Good rise of neck, well set. Pleasing topline and tailset. She is very well proportioned and stands well on her legs. Moved with a beautiful balance from the side, but needs to improve in movement coming towards me. Quite good coat quality if not in optimal coat condition.
LB (3) 1. Clarmers Mischied Managed Under Tispitza. 2. Musique Mariella at Melitabe. 3. withheld. Unfortunately my computer played up and I do not have a critique from this class, but the winner was a nicely balanced and proportioned black bitch who was a sound mover, winning over a brown bitch of very pleasing type and quality.
OB (4,2) 1. Zephon Akane. Wolf sable bitch, well up on legs. Feminine head, ears could be smaller. Pleasing neck, well set. Short enough in body. She moved light on her feet and quite sound. Very good coat quality. Well handled. ResCC. 2. Dulais Moonlight over Paris at Trebettyn JW. Smart bitch with a very attractive silhouette. Another wolf sable. Somewhat stronger in head than I prefer. Excellent short, firm topline. Beautiful tail. Well angulated in both ends, but she did not use her construction as well as I would have expected, staccato and rather disappointing on the move.
