Critique
MPD. (4). 1. Beard's, Wyndlee Oldcharm Printz Eugen. Orange sable good suare outline in stance. Well bodied with good substance, correct head shape well placed ears, giving pleasing expression. Correct pigment and eye shape. In movement very sound in all directions sufficent coat covering of correct texture. 2. Orchard's, Runfold Bolt from the Blue. Blue and white compact and well bodied with good quality coat. Muzzle a shade too long for proportions of the head, but good ear set and correct pigment. Moved with good drive but slightly out at elbows when viewed from the front. 3. Bray's, Tearaway Crazy Horse of Abbicher.
PD. (3). 1. Beard's, Wyndlee Oldcharm Printz Eugen. 2. Robert's, Norsegor Black Blade of Veratina. Black at the moment lacking in coat which detracts from the overall picture at this time. Good head and ears with nice expression. Sound rear action but narrow in front causing single track front movement.
JD. (8). 1. Eilliam's, Druitz Benedict Arnold. Dark gold sable, compact outline with good substance under double coat of correct texture. Well balanced head with nice dark eye and good pigment. Ground covering side gait, sound straight front and rear movement. 2. William's, Druitz General Montgomery. Litter brother to first and very similar in type and outline with the same good qualitydouble coat. In movement was not as sound as his brother in the hindquarters. 3. Looker's, Dramidas the Partys on with Umshumbwe.
PGD. (5). 1. Day's, Lokis Gold Ingot. Cream with an excellent overall appearance very well balanced and showing good breed type. Good substance and body under a coat of correct quality and texture. Good head proportions with dark eye and pigment. In movement covered the ground with good drive and very sound in all directions. A top class male who was seriously considered in the challenge for best dog. 2. Looker's, Dramidas the Partys on with Unshumbwe. Blue and white of interesting markings for this breed, overall appearance is compact with good substance although head can look too broad and untpical due to the colour markings. Lacking in undercoat and harsh texture of the top coat. In movement covered the ground soundly in all directions. 3. Beard's, Wyndlee Hidden Agenda for Zandaplatz.
LD. (9). 1. Rogerson's, Only the Lonely. Black of excellent type, square outline, good firm condition with correct substance, medium broad and well proportioned head with good ear set giving correct Spitz expression. The best quality and texture coat of all the mittels on the day. Moved as good as he looked, very sound in all directions with a brisk ground covering side gait. One of the best Mittels I have had the pleasure of judging in my 16 years in the breed. I was pleased to award him dog CC and BOB. 2. Loughlin's, Claran Earthworm Jim Under Caoilta. Brown of good outline and substance lacking in undercoat on the day. Well balanced head with good expression, moved soundly in front and behind. 3. Bread's, Wyndlee Tommy Atkins JW.
OD. (10). 1. Rodgerson's, Norsegor Ellans Vallin. Brown of nice compact appearance, good substance and well ribbed. Good proportioned head, well set ears and dark eyes with good pigment. Quality coat shown in first class condition, correct undercoat and harsh top coat. Moved with a good ground covering side movement. Sound in front action but slightly close behind, nevertheless another quality male who is worthy of top honnors. RDCC. 2. Connor's, Kendamar Dark Side of the Moon for Galvizach. Brown of good proportions and substance. Good head with correct pigment and well set ears. Moved with good drive and pace. Sound hindquarters but a bit loose in front. Correct coat type shown in good condition. 3. Bread's, Ch. Wyndlee the Crowman.
MPB. (4). 1. Orchard's, Runfold Fatal Attraction. Nice well balanced puppy with happy outgoing attitude, good coat of quality texture. Attractive head and expression, moved well in all directions. 2. Andrew's, Runfold Ellon Earth. Cream who looked good in stance, very well balanced and sound when settled down, moved correctly. Lacks the confidence and outgoing attitude I would expect from this breed, but improved as the class continued. 3. Cook's, Sweepaway Laughing Water.
PB. (5). 1. Curson and Hindley's, Shelaynes Little Showgirl. Cream of good overall outline with compact body of good substance, covered by a coat of good texture and quality. Feminine head with good expression and pigment. Moved soundly in all directions. BPIB. 2. Andrew's, Runfold Ellon Earth. 3. Rodgerson's, Nosregor Manx Viking.
JB. (6). 1. Sear's, Desaria Desire. Lilac bitch of good substance and compact outline. Good front and rear angles with well ribbed body, balanced head with well set ears and good expression. Coat of correct texture shown in good conditiion. Moved soundly with good drive and correct front and rear movement. RBCC. 2. Briggs's, Pennypot Winters Dance. Sable of good substance not as balanced outline as first, as back is slightly longer than required. Head and expression very good with correct pigment. Moved soundly with good drive. 3. Conner's, Galvizach Annie Oakley.
PGB. (6). 1. Bread's, Driftaway Gin Sling in Wyndlee. Very well balanced bitch of good substance. Good front and rear angles and a nice balanced head with neat ears and correct pigment. Lacking in undercoat and harsh texture top coat on the day, but with such a well made frame and sound movement I could not deny her this class. 2. Gillard's, Wyndlee Surprise Party at Wyndlee. Another well made bitch with good outline. Head of correct proportions and good pigment. Stands slightly wide in front. Straight in hindquarters with sound hind movement. 3. Hickman's, Wyndlee Mistie.
LB. (4). 1. Garbutt's, Runfold China Crisis at Nixtev. Cream of very good overall lines presenting a well balanced and sound picture. Good head of correct proportions, nice dark eye and good pigment. Moved out with drive and pace. Sound fore and hindquarters. Correct coat of good texture although lacking slightly in undercoat on the day. This did not detract in any way from the overall quality of this bitch and I was pleased to award her the BCC.
OB. (7). 1. Rogerson's, Shelayne Minstrel Show. Black of very good substance with correct quality coat, shown in top condition. Head well balanced although ears rather broad at base. Moved briskly with a ground covering pace, sound movement but a shade wide in front. 2. Roskell's, Galvizach Holy Smoke JW. Very compact and well balanced bitch, feminine head and expression with nice ears and good pigment. Would have liked more body and substance under her, good quality coat. 3. William's, Squirreldene Paeony at Rikarlo.
