I was very pleased to be judging one of my favourite breeds and to see what changes have been made since I last gave CCs. Obviously I do not know whether this entry was a representative one but I did feel that size was less of a worry than previously and that coats were better on the whole. However, if mouths in the lower classes were any indication of what is to come, then there is a major problem ahead.
PD (6) 1. Connor and Rodgers Galvizachs Jamiroqui, cream dog with dark pigmentation, well coated, movement still at the uncoordinated stage, good square shape. 2. Beard’s Wyndlee Hits The Spot, excellent legs and feet, promise of a well textured coat, movement best described as bouyant, liked his style and attitude. 3 Roberts Veratina Born To Be Wild.
JD (3) 1,Beard’s Wyndlee Oldcharm Prinz Eugen, rich red sable, beautiful pigment, nice mouth, harsh quality coat, fulfilled the outline of a spitz, handled well. 2.Sear’s Desaria Davin, well bodied chocolate dog, coarse stand off coat, perhaps not so mature in head as the winner Good rib and loin. 3 Roberts Nosregor Black Blade at Veratina.
PG (5) 1 Beard’s Wyndlee.Oldcharm Prinz Eugen. 2.William’s Druitz General Montgomery, heavily shaded sable, compact body, filled the eye as a spitz should and pressed hard for the first place. I feel sure that these two must change places often. 3. William’s Druitz Brother Dominic.
LD (6 )entries 1. Powell’s Kuseley Kloves at Brookwell, good head with broad flat skull. Good dentition compared with many, compact in body and with the correct coarse, stand off coat Both this dog and the 2 Sinclair’s Rinnes Buz Light Year, moved well and were well handled but the latter was slightly longer in body. 3 William’s Druitz General Montgomery.
OD (3) 1. Rogerson’s Nosregor Ellans Vallin, CC and BOB, beautifully presented, dark-eyed chocolate dog,, good wedge head, small high set ears, short coupled , good tail carriage, brisk, forceful mover.. 2. Powell’s Ch Kuseleys Kute Kevin, RDCC, very nice cobby dog who was also an excellent mover, good quality coat, rivalled winner in many ways but on the day I preferred the head of number one. 3.Beard’s Wyndlee Tommy Atkins JW.
PB (3) 1. Gardner and Duke’s Claran Toffee Apple at Daraydala, BP , cream with good pigment, harsh coat coming, good bone, moved in a collected manner, nicely proportioned. 2.McLaren’s Galvisach Cheyenne, dark sable with a well proportioned head but at that awkward stage of puppy growth which left the rest of her looking unbalanced, Should have a promising future. 3.Robert’s Veratina Bonnie Blue.
JB (2) 1 Brigg’s Pennypot Winters Dance, in her underclothes on the day and very skittish with it.
PGB (5) 1 Roberts Kuseley Fracas at Shamead, cream with very dark pigmentation, nice outline and moved well, could do with a little more bone. 2. Brigg’s Pennypot Magic, black bitch with good broad skull and head, dark pigment, well proportioned throughout. 3.Purves’s Rossfort Brocade at Bulabs.
LB (4) 1 Rodgers’ Kuseley Riff Raff at Callecia BCC well pigmented shaded cream, not in the fullest of coats which enabled her quality to be more clearly seen. Neat well placed ears.and a good mouth. Movement brisk and effortless.Embodied femininity. 2. Hickman’s Wyndlee Mistic at Kateandy, Excellent head but the extra weight she was carrying precluded good movement.
OB 8 entries (3abs) 1. Rogerson’s Shelayne Minstrel Show, Black bitch with harsh, coarse straight coat, won this class on her excellent movement. 2, Moir’s Ch Wilmac Kreme Kookie at Jansanleis, cream bitch who also moved well, sound, compact , well presented, Preferred head of number 1 on the day.
