German Spitz Club Of Great Britain Open Show 30.03.2019
Mittels

Veteran Dog.

1. Smiths’ CH Spellcast Jivetalking.  This 7 Year old Black dog never fails to impress me, he has a beautiful head with a flat skull and nice neat ears. He has a moderate neck with correct shoulders, lovely length to his rib and a short strong loin. His tail set is bang on, his movement is breath taking and this won him this class & BVIS.

2. Williams’ CH Spellcast Talk To Da Paw At Trebettyn. This is another quality Veteran Dog, 8 years old and not showing his age. He too has a lovely correct wedge shaped head with nice eye shape and small well set ears. He is a very well-constructed male and when he moves this shows. He floats around the ring with correct side gait and is so true coming and going. Both males are a credit to their owners and breeder.

Puppy Dog.

1. Folkes’ Spellcast Love Talks (AI). I was taken with this 10 month old black. He has a beautiful head with good eye shape, ears well set and used well, and correct bite. He has good body for his age with nice rib and length of back, and is well boned. Once he settled his moment was very good for a youngster. Should have a bright future. BPIS

2. Durham’s Spellcast Hear Your Talk (AI). Hard to asses this young man on the move but has all the promise. Litter brother to 1 and has many of his qualities. Today 1st was more settled and had better ear carriage.

Post Graduate Dog.

1. Henry’s Musique Zirkon.  2 Year old rich Brown with a lovely head, good front assembly, nice tight cat like feet, short back, good tail set and excellent hind quarters. Moved very well, I liked him a lot.

Limit Dog

1. King’s Gronw October Moon Over Grizwold. Sable dog with a decent head, nice neat ears, good firm body. Moved with drive and precision to win this class. One I will watch closely.

2. Barnes & King’s Spellcast Talk With Me By Izlou 3 year old cream who was not using his ears today. He has an OK head with a nice bite, well off for bone and substance, and moves well once he settled. Shown in good coat and condition.

Open Dog. Lovely class

1. Rodgerson & Mulholland’s Fisherbloom Black Shaman With Nosregor. 3 year old orange sable in fantastic coat and condition. He has taken his time to mature but wow it has been worth waiting for. He has a true spitzy head that makes you want to take him home. His ears are small and correct, moderate neck that he uses on the stack to show his beautiful shape. He stands on well boned legs, he is true coming and going and on the go around has this brisk action that is correct for the breed. Should make the upper house with ease. BEST DOG BOB & RBIS

2 King’s CH Grizwold Loki. A very worth Champion of 6 years old. Lovely wedge head, correct shaped eyes and triangle ears. Moderate neck, solid body, square in profile. I can not fault the movement on the dogs from this kennel. Shame to meet the winner today. RBD

Vetran Bitch

1. Andrews’ Dagsljus Against All Odds At Claran (IMP SWE).  Sable of 7 Years. Short, compact, in excellent condition. The eye could make you think she is under the min measure but I assure you she is well over it and has body and bone under her coat. She has a decent head with a nice expression and a good mouth. Good length of rib and strong level topline. She comes into her own on the move and is foot perfect.

2. King’s Druitz Cariad Bach Of Grizwold. 9 year old orange who was enjoying her day out. She has a good head with correct bite. In good coat and another that flew around the ring. Just not the front action of 1

Puppy Bitch.

1. Hewitts Spellcast Talking Point (AI). 10 Months black and litter sister to 1 & 2 in PD. Has a lot to like. Lovely head, ears and eye shape, nice bone and substance. Stands almost square. Good coat and well-schooled. Moved well, just felt her Brother had the edge in his head today.

Junior Bitch.

1 Barnes & King’s Izlou Walnut Forget Me JW.  Black who you have to get your hands on to appreciate. She has a nice head with correct bite, good eye shape and small well set ears. Moderate neck, level topline, short loin and good tailset. In the best coat and condition, well off for bone yet is still feminine. Moves very well coming and going and covers the ground on the go around. Should have a bright future. BB RBOB

2. Rodgerson’s Nosregor Lullabye. Another stunning black and a shame to meet 1 who just had the edge on coat today. She too has a good head with correct bite and flat skull. Well bodied, tailset is good and she has correct movement. She stands almost square on strong bone yet holds her femininity. Another who should reach her potential in time. RBB

Limit Bitch

1 Pooley’s Azkaban Keep The Faith. Black and tan who is on the small side for me. Would like better bone and substance. Neat ears, moves ok.

Open Bitch.

1. Williams’ CH Dulais Moonlight over Paris At Trebettyn JW. Sable who I do admire for her classic spitzy head and outline. Her eye is correct, flat skull good bite, moderate neck. Lovely length of rib and moderate depth of chest. Tailset curled nicely over her back, well boned and moves well.
