German Spitz (Mittel)

I was a late replacement judge for the breed and thank the exhibitors for their support. Never an easy situation when you have chosen to exhibit under the scheduled judge but my placings were taken with good spirit.

P G D/B (3,0)

1 Smith’s DACFPIKE BARNEY BEAR B/W Male who provided a well balanced outline and was of ideal size. Attractive wedge head, nice eyes and good bite.Good front and compact feet.Neck of moderate length, nicely ribbed body, good topline. Moderately angulated rear.Moved with smart brisk action.

2 Hall’s DACFOLKE ARTIC ALUPINE AT PUFNSTUFF, Wolf sable, a little out of coat.Correct for make and shape. Fair front and feet. Moderate rear angulation.Rear action not so spritely as 1.Good for type.

3 & RBB Monks’ MOONS ROCKS CROSS MY HEART AT ROZIBON

1,BD & BOB Roberts Pearce & Francis’ CH LONGSDALES REBEL ROUSER AT CWRTAFON JW  Black, providing the best of profiles Typical head ears used to advantage,straight front and nice feet. Moderate neck allowing proud head carriage on the move.Nicely ribbed and good topline.Well presented coat of good texture.Moved out with real purpose.

2 & RBD Monks’ CWRTAFON IOAN Compact outline, masculine head, would prefer slightly smaller ears, bright dark eyes,good dentition,front and feet ok.Strong neck. Well ribbed body with good topline. Moderately angulated quarters. Coat of nice texture. Moved out with some style.

3 Bennett’s MELITABE SUPER TOUPER

OB (1,0)

1 & BB Hall’s PUFNSTUF KISS DA PAW black with super temperament, lovely feminine head with pleasing expression. Good ear set and bite. Good legs and compact feet. Nicely arched neck, fair rib, well presented coat which was just starting to change. Good light springy action on the move. Generally a very appealing exhibit.

1 & BV Williams’  Ch SPELLCAST TALK TO DA PAW AT TREBETTYN ShCM VW,Black male of excellent make and shape. Correct wedge head,good ears which he used well. Bite ok.Good legs, feet ok.Moderate neck allowing good head carriage. Well ribbed body and good topline. Moderately angulated rear.In excellent  condition and coat of correct texture. Lost out on movement as rather untidy behind.
