Critique

Many Thanks to the committee of Richmond Dog show for their invite to Judge German Spitz Mittel I was delighted with my main winners. Thanks to all the exhibitors who entered under me.

Puppy Dog

1.  ANDREW, Ms Karoline Izlou You Know You Love Me of Claran NAF This Black 10 month old set the standard high today he has an excellent wedge shaped head with a flat skull and correctly shaped and set eyes his intelligent yet mischievous expression completely filled my eye  he has a moderate neck with well-set shoulders his elbows were tucked neat to his well sprung rib cage that was long and give you a short strong loin his tail set was set high over his back he has well angled and muscled quarters on the stand he is an absolute balanced picture and he moves with brisk action and is true when viewed from all angles of the ring. He has a correct well textured double coat that was just the icing on the cake there was nothing in my opinion to beat this exciting young male today I could not deny him The CC BOB& BPIB he will for sure gain his grown I wish him all the luck in the world on his exciting journey.
2. DREW, Dr L Doroluna If The Crown Fits Taller more rangier 11 Months old brown he has a head that still needs to mature and when it does it will be a pleasing picture good bone would like him to carry more body to complete the picture he moved very well once settled this puppy needs time and I look for ward to seeing him once he matures as he has the makings of a very nice spitz.

Post Graduate Dog

1.  TAYLOR, Miss Tina Tispitza's Futterwacken Really liked this 18 month old black he has a super spitz head with well set and shaped ears well off for bone and substance he has the best of silhouettes that’s shouts spitz he has good shoulders and upper arm well developed rear that allowed him to move with brisk action around the ring he once settles is true coming and going he is another that I think needs time to develop and settle he should go far. I did give him a second look for the RCC 
2.  CLAYDEN, Miss Emma Izlou Ketchup if you can 2 year old cream in good coat who was not co-operating on the table he has enough bone and good cat like feet well-muscled rear that took him around the ring with ease would prefer his ears to be better set as they were slightly wide and appeared more round than triangle in shape and better pigment

Limit Dog

1. HARE, Mrs Karen Janina Tispitza Locked and Loaded Black of excellent type flat skull with good wedge shape to his head. Moderate neck evident fore chest well boned and bodied good double coat with moderate angles throughout he moves very well in all directions and on the stack poses a lovely picture.

Open Dog

1. BLIGHT, Mrs Ellen Ir Ch Izlou Float Ma Boat Black and tan male in full harsh coat he has a beautiful wedge shape head with small neat ears he has good shoulders and correct upper arm and good fore chest good long and well sprung rib cage with short strong lion correct tail set with good rear angles all this meant his movement was correct when viewed from any angle Happy to award him the RCC should gain his title easy was unlucky to meet DCC winner today I like him very much.
2. BARNES, Ms L & KING, Miss I Ch Izlou Shiver Me Timbers Litter brother to 1 and has a very good head with nice eye shape and correct bite small neat ears moderate neck nice bone and substance a picture stacked and was in full black coat he has a good side gait today he was just untidy coming and going away still a very nice type.

Veteran Bitch

1.  O' LEARY, Mr K Ir Ch Int Ch Utopia Aus Dem Norden at Cadasaro 9 year old white in beautiful condition and coat excellent bite with all teeth present decent head with dark pigment good strong neck excellent fore chest elbows sat neat to her good rib cage excellent bone and substance she was a picture stood but today she took my breath away with her super movement this bitch for me  out moved the other girls and I could not deny her the CC her crown I believe congratulations.

Puppy Bitch

Interesting class these two could have changed places on another day.

1. BARNES, Ms L & KING, Miss I Izlou Gossip Girl very showy cream and litter sister to my DCC winner she is a little finer than I would like and needs to strengthen in pasterns but she has a sweet head with dark eyes and a mischievous expression good brisk action on the move very attentive to her young handler who shows her to perfection. Needs time to develop all over
2.  DREW, Dr L Doroluna's Diamond Crown Black with more bone than 1 but not the body today she has a nice head with good eyes and well set ears and good bite  moved with brisk action and was enjoying her time in the ring today another who needs time.

Junior Bitch

1. HEWETT, Mrs L cwrtafon branwen very stylish black with the best of bone and body good bite with well set ears strong short neck good angles fore and aft she moved very well could have been moved a fraction faster for me but she was foot perfect in full black coat.

Post Graduate Bitch

1. ANDREW, Ms Karoline Claran Blue Aurora blue sable smaller all over than I would like but still very in proportion good head with correct bite good firm body and sound on the move she has correct brisk action and was so true coming and going not in the best of coats but nothing to hide on this well  made body.
2. TAYLOR, Miss Tina TISPITZAS OFF WITH YOUR HEAD Black and white mottled parti who I thought would have been my winner of this class on first glance she has a beautiful profile picture good head small neat well set ears good angles front and back in good coat unfortunately she gave her handler a hard time and just refused to settle on the move making it difficult for me to access her she definitely was enjoying her day out.

Limit Bitch

1.  ANDREW, Ms Karoline Claran Blue Galaxy Beautifully balanced blue sable with a good head and correct scissor bite she was a little reluctant  on using her ears today but when she did they were small correctly set and shaped she has a  firm body with excellent coat and texture she is another fantastic mover from this kennel and should make the upper house.
2.  DREW, Dr L Izlou Peanut Passion Smaller black with a lot to like nice head and eye with good bite neat ears good body and angles moved well unlucky to meet winner today.

Open Bitch

1. TAYLOR, Miss Tina Ch Clarmers mischief managed under Tispitza JW stunning black who I have always admired ultra-feminine head with well set ears fore chest is good with firm body good tail set and was  in the best of coat and condition a very worthy Champion in my opinion just piped at the post by the veteran who was on such form today RCC
2. MOIR, Ms Lisa & MOIR, Mrs Janice & MOIR Shandy Ch Ch Jansanleis Mayhem JW 11 year old cream who left her jacket at home today she has a good head with nice eye shape ears set on top of her head just like they should be firm body for her age and good bone she did not disappoint when I went over her today her rib cage is long and lion is short and strong with hight set tail good muscle for her age she really is a credit to the breed and her owners thank your for brining her and giving me the chance to go over a super spitz
