GERMAN SPITZ - MITTEL
VD (1) 1 Smith’s Sobriety Suited and Booted. Attractive balanced head, immaculate teeth. Would prefer a smaller eye. Quite lovely to handle with good bone and plenty of substance through the middle. Perhaps a tad wide in front, but excellent rear and moving well.
PD (1) 1 Taylor’s Tispitza Lullaby Of Woe. What a super puppy. A lovely balanced head with correct eye shape and set giving very attractive expression. Perhaps a tad heavy in ear. He handles so well with good bone and compact well made body. Correct angulation front and rear. Moved well. Super coat and well presented. Loved him. Best Puppy.
JD (2) 1 Smith’s Jansanleis Night Fever. I thought this lad was very handsome indeed. Just loved his balanced head with correct set and shape of eye giving most typical expression. He stands square with legs well under him. His angulation is balanced giving a typical side gait, brisk, yet with purpose. He still has maturing to do and this will improve him even further. A lovely dog with tremendous style and so very well presented. I had no hesitation awarding him CC and BOB. 2 Rogerson’s Nosregor Sticking Around. All round smaller dog than the winner. Most attractive balanced head though I would prefer a less round eye and a little smaller ear. An upstanding dog with good legs and feet. It is clear that he is going through the teenage stage and will take his time to fill out and drop through the middle.
PGD (1) 1 Rogerson’s Nosregor Hercules. How lovely to see a smashing Black and White Parti-colour. Such a smart lad with a most attractive head. Expression is very typical with an excellent eye and good ear set. He didn’t disappoint on the table having good bone and neat feet. Lovely substance to ribbing and strong loin. Good tail set. Moved well. Pushing hard in the challenge.
LD (2) 1 Taylor’s Tispitza’s Futterwacken. Up to size masculine boy with a gorgeous head and expression. Excellent bone and feet. Lovely spring of rib, strong loin and excellent tail set. He stands well over his ground, presenting a square, well balanced picture. He is correctly balanced in angulation and is sound coming and going. Please don’t do a 100 meter dash, he moves well and freely at a steady pace. Thoroughly deserved Reserve CC. 2 Rogerson’s Nosregor In A Land Of Myth. Nicely balanced head with a neat well set ear, though I would prefer a little less deep stop. Good through the body and loin. Excellent bone and feet. Super coat of good quality. Profile a little spoilt by lower tail set. Movement satisfactory.
VB (2,1) 1 Alfred’s Nixtev Vitesse at Teamor. A nine year old cream ‘puppy’. Nicely balanced head with thoroughly feminine expression. Ear is a little tall, though well set. Lovely substance to her body. Sound as a bell and moving with considerable verve and style.
PB (1) 1 Heslop’s Flamuna Definitely Maybe. Attractive head and expression with good eye colour. In profile, not quite so square though a fuller coat will improve. Decent through the middle with a wonderfully high tail set. Sound enough moving away and back, but tends to ‘run downhill’ on side action.
JB (1) 1 Moirs’ Jansanleis Rave. A gorgeous young parti-colour bitch. Beautiful head and expression, just what I was looking for. Profile is excellent and she doesn’t disappoint on going over. Sound mover. I believe she will be the one to beat once she reaches full maturity.
LB (2) 1 Alfred’s Flamuna Shenanigans With Teamor. A nice typy girl who needs handled to be fully appreciated. Decent length neck, excellent spring of rib with correct depth. Strong and short loin without excess tuck up. Well set tail. A very well balanced head with lovely expression. Good bone and feet and super square in profile. Movement was not so good being a little wide in front and close behind. Won this class on her lovely typyness. 2 Fitton’s Nosregor Cassiopeia At Shelayne. Hard decision between these two. I don’t usually use the phrase ‘same comments apply’ but in this case if fits. Another girl who handles so well with much I liked. If anything she was moving a little better than the winner. In the final summation I felt this lass wasn’t quaite so square as I would like.
OB (2) 1 Moirs’ Ch Jansanleis Mayhem JW. Wow, just Wow. This 12 year old lass is in fabulous condition. I only have two words in my notes ‘Just Superb’ and she really is. Wonderfully typical profile, square with substance. Good bone and feet, excellent balanced angulation, good spring of rib and short strong loin. Prettiest of head and expression. Moving with soundness and style. Still unbeatable and thank you for the opportunity to judge her, an absolute pleasure. Bitch CC. 2 Heslop’s Flamuna Kallisto. It is so good to see the breed reaching veteran in prime condition and this 7 year old girl is no exception. She is beautiful. Fully mature she has bone and substance whilst retaining elegance and style. Equally as well made as the winner and just as sound. To be honest I could have tossed a coin between these two and been just as happy with the result. In the final analysis this girl was lacking a full set of trousers and that was all that was between them. I cannot fathom why she is not a Champion. Bitch Reserve CC.
