I thought there was more depth of quality in this variety today with an outstanding BOB winner. Many thanks to my stewards Lindsay French and Michelle Birdsworth. 
VD 2(0) 1. Smith’s Sobriety Suited and Booted. 7 year old cream dog who scored on balance to win this, wedge shaped head, his ears a little wide set, very good rear, front action a little wide, I’d prefer a more refined head, BV. 2. Williams’ Ch. Spellcast Talk To Da Paw at Trebettyn ShCM VW. 12 years, back in remarkable condition and moving well, his eyes are a little bold but I liked his head shape, I just preferred the squareness of the winner but it was a close call - he is a great credit to his owner. 
PD 2(0) 1. Taylor’s Tizpitza’s Lullaby of Woe. 7 months, brown, beautifully square and stands on good legs and feet and carries himself well, good head proportions with eyes of acceptable colour, his ears are a little large, won this close decision on balance and carriage, BP, should do well. 2. Wilson’s Izlou Everyday I’m Truffling at Flytesway. 11 months, black, whose head I preferred to the winner, he is a little more refined in bone and could have just a touch more leg for perfect squareness, good coat, sound movement but not the carriage of winner. 
JD 3(1) 1. Smith’s Jansanleis Night Fever. 13 months, white, beautiful head shape with correct stop, eye and ears, squarely built and carries himself well, in good coat, RDCC. 2. Chapman’s Kitsune Notorious (AI). 17 months, sable of beautiful colour and superb eye and expression and ears, just a touch too severe in his stop, square build with good bone, just needs a touch more leg, beautifully presented by his young handler, he pressed the winner hard.
PGD 3(1) 1. Drew’s Doroluna If The Crown Fits. 2 year old brown, I liked his leg length and balance and good headpiece, he is a touch straight in shoulder and can finish in chest, very good coat and tail, brisk action. 2. Rogerson’s Nosregor Hercules. 2 years, black/white with lovely head and eye, he needs to fill out in ribcage, good tail, I preferred leg length of winner. 
LD 2(0) 1. Rogerson’s Nosregor In A Land of Myth. 2 years, brown, who is beautifully balanced with excellent headpiece and very smart in his carriage, needs a little more body and coat but he is a very smart spitz in balance and movement, challenged hard for Res CC. 2. Andrew’s Izlou You Know You Love Me of Claran. 22 months, black and a little long for balance, shown in excellent coat and is a sound mover, maximum rear angulation which just lengthens him when standing, good head shape, ears a touch wide set. OD 1(0) 1. Roberts/Pearce/Francis’ Ch. Longsdales Rebel Rouser at Cwrtafon JW. 3 year old black, in top form, beautifully balanced, well boned and with good ribcage and excellent movement, good head shape, ears could be a touch smaller but top quality and stood away here, DCC & BOB. 
VB 2(1) 1. Purves’s Bulabs Blonde Lady. 8 years old cream, very feminine in head with excellent clean dentition, she is a touch short on the leg for balance, sound mover, ears a touch large. 
PB 1(0) 1. Garbutt’s Longsdale’s Lets Dance for Nixtev. 9 months, bright red with beautiful headpiece of correct shape and proportions, neatest of ears and beautiful dark eyes, I would prefer a little more leg for perfect balance, very sound brisk mover, needs a touch more confidence on the table to carry her tail better. 
JB 3(1) 1. Garbutt’s Cadasaro Fighting Fit for Nixtev (IKC). White of almost 18 months, fills the eye for balance, carriage and movement, feminine quality head which could have a little more finish in muzzle yet, superb pigmentation, ears a touch large, excellent movement holding her shape, pressed hard for CC as I preferred her size but preferred winner’s head at the moment, RBCC. 2. Moir’s Jansanleis Rave. 13 months, another good bitch who is a shade longer than the winner, I liked her head and eye, sound brisk mover, when she is back in full coat will look more balanced.
