Birmingham National German Spitz Mittel & Klein.  Judge Mrs Melanie Hill.  Thank you to the Officers and Committee for inviting me to judge, the Stewards for their help and the exhibitors for their entry.  It was nice to see the younger generation showing and the sporting atmosphere around the ring.
 Mittel
SB (0).  MPD (0).
PD Dog (3) Lovely class to start the day.  1st BP PG2 Cadasaro Gerhard, eye-catching, glamourous 10mths cream, jet black pigment, masculine head with well set ears which he was a little reluctant to use at times, well off for bone & substance, firm body & condition, beautifully presented coat of correct texture, balanced & appealing outline, positive in all directions on the move.  I am sure he will have a promising future.   2nd Rozibon Adventure Begins.  11 mths black & tan puppy had an abundance of coat, smaller framed than the winner but everything in proportion. Correct wedge shape head, with dark, oval eye giving pleasing expression, neat well-set ears which he used to advantage, not as positive today in hind movement as the winner, never took his eyes off his handler.  I am sure he will change places many times with the winner.  3 Cadasaro Georgie with Nosregor (NAF TAF).
JD (2) (1abs) Longsdales The Aviator 17 mths jet black, appealed on the stance, balanced head with dark oval eyes giving desired expression, adequate bone & substance for size, firm, level topline complemented with high tail set, not moving at his best today.  PG (2 1bs) Nosregor Sticking Around Attractive sable, lovely temperament, compact, square outline, straight front with catlike feet, good bite, oval eye, well used ears, not in full coat but correct texture, high tail set, pleasing steady mover in all directions.
