GERMAN SPITZ (MITTEL)
Judge: Mrs S Storm  (STORMAVON)

Thank you to the committee for inviting me to Judge today.   An excellent well run show.  A lot of thought going into the various parts of the show, parking, Marquee, & Toilets all accessible with ease.
Thank you to my 2 excellent Stewards, One of which is a German spitz owner.  I questioned why she was in my ring when I arrived.  The Chief Steward had been made aware, and suggested that the Exhibitors were asked how they felt.  The exhibitors had not qualms about the arrangement.  (Apart from one who left a bad taste in an otherwise very friendly and happy show)
Thank you to Jan Tullis for getting our coffees!!!!
Thanks to the Exhibitors who accepted my decisions, and sorry to the one who didn’t!
Delighted that my DCC winner Res DCC winner & BCC winner were all sired by the same dog.

Class 78 JD (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1 O' LEARY, Mr K Cadasaro Gerhard Lovely boy, with great black pigmentation, correct harsh coat, decent length of neck and strong 1st & 2nd thighs.  Moving well today both coming and going.  Very taken with him.   RCC
2  ROGERSON, Miss L J Cadasaro Georgie With Nosregor. Another super young boy, again great black pigmentation, Neatest of ears, set high.  Almost flat top of head, nice bone and good almost square body, prefer the straighter movement in the front of my winner.
A hard decision in this class, with these two exhibits.  The winner just had the slightest of edge over 2nd.   Litter brothers and both very nice examples of the breed.  I am sure they will both go far.

Class 79 PGD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1  ROGERSON, Miss L J Nosregor Sticking Around  Excellent shaped wedge head with neat ears set high.  Well muscled thighs and good substance.  Correct amount of bone.  Moving well both coming and going.
2  WILSON, Mrs I D Izlou Everday I'm Truffling At Flytesway  Another very nice spitz head on this boy.   Neat ears, set high.  Again a nice short coupled body with strong thighs.  Not moving as well as the winner today.

Class 80 LD (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1 CHAPMAN, Mr Dave & CHAPMAN, Mrs Susan & CHAPMAN, M Kitsune Notorious (ai)  Lots to like about this dog, well placed ears, correct almond shaped eyes, good overall balance and very nice both coming and going.
2  ROGERSON, Mrs & Mr P & D Nosregor In A Land Of Myth  Nicely balanced, with almost square outline, straight front with good bone, scissor bite, dark eyes correct high ear set. A dog I have liked in the past, disappointing movement today.

1  O' LEARY, Mr K Cadasaro Fights On   Lots to love about this dog.    Pigmentation is excellent, & his compact overall body shape.  Scissor bite, nice moderate reach of neck, good spring of rib with strong thighs.  Moving strong and true coming and going.  DCC   The father of the two nice Juniors! One of which was my RDCC
2  BLIGHT, Mrs Ellen Ch Ir Ch Int Ch Izlou Float Ma Boat.  Another typical spitz boy, with lots to like, correct compact body shape, almond shaped eyes and small neat ears set high.  In excellent coat of the correct harsh texture.  Good bone & substance.  He did not move as well as my winner.

A pleasing head, with correct wedge shape, almost flat between his neat ears,  correct harsh coat, but I would like more muscle, and a bit more of him overall.

Class 87 LB (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: 232 MOIR, Ms Lisa & MOIR, Mrs J & MOIR, Miss S & MACKE Jansanleis Rave JW
Out of coat which gave me the opportunity to see all she had.   Correct Spitz type in all ways, with wedge shaped head with excellent pigmentation, almost flat top of head, high set ears, good reach of neck, straight front, and good bone.  Firmly muscled.  Out of coat gave her a long appearance, but she is maturing nicely.  Fully deserving her BCC
2nd: 227 FITTON, Ms Maria Nosregor Cassiopeia At Shelayne  Another good example of a spitz with correct wedge head, straight front and good bone, moderate length of neck and high tail set.  My winner just had the edge on movement
