German Spitz Club Of Great Britain 30/08/2025  

Open show   MITTELS I would like to thank the committee for the invitation to judge Mittel’s at their show. Huge thanks to the exhibitors for the chance to meet their dogs and for staying on to compete. I found the exhibits to be of wonderful temperament and overall in good coat and of correct type. My fellow Klein Judge and I could not agree on the top awards, so the Referee made the finale awards. 
BABY PUPPY  1 Pollen’s Tispitza’s Midnight Ritual (D) 4 month happy baby – lovely cream baby, developing a wedge head, mouth coming nicely, uses ears well, has a clean neck onto well laid shoulder blade, straight front, balanced body, tail tight to body, muscled quarters  coming along nicely, good feet – for one so young moved well and enjoyed himself. 
MP (1) 1  Clarke’s Shelayne Riotus Revelry (D) 7-month orange sable has correct head, scissor bite, moderate neck to body, balanced throughout, good bone and feet – needs to settle on the move but enjoying himself BPD 
P (1)  1 Huntley’s Ciasman Ala Droppaa Mun Tunnelmaa (Imp Fin) 11 months black smaller framed boy, scissor bite, balanced frame, in good coat, needs to settle on movement RBPD 
J  (1) 1  King’s Grizwold Paper Moon (D) Cream13 months good wedge head, strong jaw, scissor bite, good set of shoulder, straight front, soundly made throughout, strong feet, moved very soundly. 
PG (2)  1 Drechsler’s Longsdale’s Derun Around At Jeansway masculine black male, loved his expression, good straight front, muscled quarters, enough coat – moved very well. 2 King’s Grizwold Oriole (D) wedge head, correctly placed eye and ear, excellent scissor bite, balanced bone and body, good feet, moved okay. 
L (2,1) 1  Barnes & King’s Izlou No Prob Llama (D) mature black & White parti colour, good wedge head, scissor bite with strong jaw, particularly good bone throughout, balanced square frame, strong muscled quarters – moved with style on good feet BD + BOB. 
O (1)  1  King’s Grizwold Owl Light (D) White Apricot parti colour, strong mature male, wedge head, scissor bite, well placed ears, good neck into well laid shoulder, straight front, balanced bone and body, muscled quarters, strong feet – moved very well RBD. 
MPB  2 (1) 1  Fitton’s Shelayne’s Celebration (B) 7 month’s brown parti colour very becoming young lady, well placed ears, scissor bite, good moderate neck into shoulder, straight front, good bone throughout, muscle coming on quarters, carried tail well good feet, moved well once settled BPB + BPIB 
PGB 3 (1) 1 Nicholl’s Izlou Muffin Compares for Shyllar (B) black well-presented lady - lovely proportioned head, scissor bite, lovely neck into well placed shoulders, straight front, balanced body, muscled quarters, carried her tail graciously, tight feet moved very well BB + RBOB. 2 Purves’s Kitsune Cream Fudge (B) cream lady, expressive head, scissor bite, a larger framed girl to 1st but still very soundly made, moved with good gait – coat coming in. 
LB (3)  1 King’s Grizwold  Oops A Daisy (B) liked her head, well placed eyes, small ears, scissor bite, good neck into well laid shoulder, straight front, balanced body, again good muscled quarters, feet good moved with ease pushed hard for BB deserved RBB. 2 Barnes & King’s Izlou The Truffle Maker (B) black well-presented lady, nice expression, well made with good bone throughout, muscled quarters – tidy feet moved very well.  3 Fritton’s Nosregor Cassiopeia At Shelayne (B)
